Reading today's posts I feel like once these guys get these debits returned next Friday (my payday) they are going to begin calling me at work! And it seems that they can because they are in another country and they are calling to collect a debt.

yes they will, however, if you make sure they have a cell number or something and u answer it, they will usually try the most often reached number

Okay. That makes me feel better. I don't mind if they call. As long as they are harrassing me directly and not through others at my job.

But by that time your consolidation company will start paying them. Once they start receiving money, number of calls will come down I guess.

iloveteaching,
if this makes you feel any better, I'm also dealing with ICS and their bark is a lot bigger than their bite. they have never called me at work. As a matter of fact, the messages they left on my machine for the first few weeks after I closed my account were actually polite. I have had no issues with them, they have made deals with me. I don't know how long you've been paying them, but I paid them for 5 months. they charged $89 every 2 weeks plus the $35 initial fee on a $200 loan. You can do the math, I don't want to! Hopefully you get lucky with them too.
