I received a call from that number tonight. The phone rang once, I picked up and nobody was there. My caller Id showed "blocked name". I have my phone set up NOT to accept blocked calls. If you have this option in your area try putting it on. They were not able to get through to me THIS TIME! Good luck!

dairycowz, don't allow the calls continue further. Get in touch with the company and know their reason of calling you. If they don't have a reason, get your name removed from their system.

Hey, thanks to everybody for the info on this phone number, especially Jessi. These people have been ringing my phone off the hook, but I have not been answering because my Caller ID says "Blocked Call:. I have Anonymous Call Rejection on my BellSouth Deluxe Caller ID, so I turned it on (DUH) and I won't be hearing from these people again.

Yea been getting those for the past few weeks too. Today they called once then 2 min. later, again. Just opened the line this time and listened and the guy just started talking. I told him to send the info in the mail. He said thank you and hung up...We shall see.

In the case that you have anonymous call rejection (call block rejection?) and the number shows up as restricted or blocked it means that the company has requested that as the name on their call output. I think it's also illegal for a business to do so. Either way it's a great case for a complaint against whomever it is.

Talk to your phone company and get the number blocked. You can also send a letter to the company and identify the real reason for calling you. If their is no valid reason, the calls must stop or you can pursue legal actions.

I have been getting these calls since about may 17th and they call at least once per day. There is never a person. It is just a hang up call. I used to work as a telemarketer and if you say "Take me off your list." They have to. I did surveys also. One thing that has been effective for me, when you have a person on the phone is to tape record the call. Advise the person you are recording the call, state the date and time, you name and ask them to for the company name and then as them to put you on thier do not call list. I am just getting hang up calls, but if I get someone on the line I will tape it.

Companies are using a loophole in the do-not-call law... polling/survey companies are exempt. They do a survey and then sell your number to marketers who then claim they have a previous relationship with you, because of the survey... which enables them to make marketing calls.

There should be a feature available from your phone company that allows you to add a small list of numbers to be blocked automatically. This is different than anonymous call rejection because it will block the number if it shows up on that list. That in combination with the anonymous call rejection should shut these guys down nicely.

I have fun with them even if it totally ticks me off. When they ask a question you ask one back. They learn nothing and I'm happy pissing off the owner since they aint getting anything that is any value. OR, if its a woman, I ask for **** or a mere BJ to make this call worth it. It s always funny to hear the response. In my opinion if they bother me I bother them.
