my bank is threatening collection agency because my account is 1000.00 in the neg due to od fees that payday loans caused! any advice would be appreciated Embarassed

im also taking point donations as becasue of this mess im trying to raise 500.00 for my 7 month old son to have surgery....im broke...god bless you guys and i wish you the best of luck!

My son went through od fees,though his was from being stupid and not paying attention to his account. Anyway,he and I went to the bank,asked to speak to an officer or president or something,to see how we could settle this. Anyway,I guess because we went up there and explained and wanted to fix this,they didn' send it to the D.A.'s office and allowed him to pay it out and off. Why don't you tald with your loan officer,if you have one,or and officcer and tell them the circumstances and that you want to get this taken care of. I have know of them,in my friend's case,to wave some of the od fees due to circumstance. Good Luck to you,hope this helps

I agree, I would also contact your bank and explain your situation. Maybe they will deduct some of the fees.

When I went through a similar situation with my bank I spoke with the manager and she let me make payments every pay day to get it cleared. She put the account on hold so it can't be hit anymore. Talking to them is always best. Good Luck and let us know what happens
