Kids

This morning my kids were getting ready for school and I was getting the laundry sorted. They got real quiet in the bathroom and when I went in to see what they were doing, they were having a toothpaste war. They had their toothpaste all over the sink, counter, shower curtain, and in their hair. Does anyone realize how hard it is to get toothpaste out of hair? It isn't easy. Then once I got the mess cleaned up I went back to finish sorting the laundry and then I picked up a towel out of the basket and my little boy had put a rubber snake in the towel and wadded it up. I threw the towel and they started giggling and told me early April Fools Day. Has anyone else had their kids do these kind of things or am I the only one with rotten kids? I was never so glad to see them go to school! Laughing

Oh sister I can so relate! I have an 8 year old boy and a 6 year old girl, and they are soooooo rotten sometimes!LOL

Love 'em dearly though.

Once my daughter mixed Caro corn syrup and coffee grounds together all over the bay to her bay window. I was like WOW, I need to go out and smoke, so I don't do something I will regret. Seriously, the stuff was like cement!

Both of them used to like to get toilet paper wet and throw at eachother and on the walls of the bathroom. They have grown out of that too.

I could go on and on and on about all of the messes that I have had to clean up over the years. I probably could write a novel...think anyone would buy it? Instead of What To Expect When You're Expecting, call it What to Expect When You Have Two Toddlers--Grey Hair!!!

I would be the first to buy it. Tell you what, I have twins and anyone that says twins are easy, are out of their minds. What one doesn't think of the other does. They have their own way of communicating and sometimes it is disasterous.

My two still at home are teenagers now and they still do those things. For your peace of mind you will find that they will have this done to them at some point with kids of their own. My oldest is 29 and his two, 9 and 7, give him the dickens now. So smile and remember that when they grow up they get back what they gave!!!!!!! lmao Very Happy Twisted Evil Very Happy

I don't have kids...YET...But my friends do...They're like little monkeys. The get into anything. My boyfriend Chris doesn't help matters--When we go to Jen's house, he teams up with her 4 year old...Last week, Chris taught Zack how to hang on the doorknob and swing on the door...lol

When I was little, my cousin and I split an entire bottle of Flintstones vitamins...We didn't get sick or anything but we did get into a lot of trouble that day. We had a major vitamin high...I do remember trying to parachute off the swingset with a plastic bag...lol

yep, you're not alone. As kalevala316 said, I too still have kids living at home. a 19 almost 20 year old and a 27 almost 28 year old. The 27 is younger than most 5 year olds and he's always throwing something into the mix. LOL!!! My daughter has bipolar so shes good at keeping everything serious, and he's the grown class clown that keeps everyone laughing, so its nice---most of the time LOL. I also have a 28 and 29 yr old that are married and gone. One lives down the street from me and the other lives in atlanta. no grandkids yet. One of my kids threw the cat in the dryer when they were little, another one stuck green peas up his nose until we had to take him to the emergency room to get them dug out, with four kids, it was ALWAYS something!!!

Hang in there tammy!! Know the feeling, but mine are grown and some days I wish they were little! Have a 32 year old at home, who has obessive ciomplusive disorder, social anxiety, etc. and is one disability, but he is no problem. Also have a 25 year old who fell in lust a couple of months ago and moved in with some girl with 2 kids, hop they give him half the hell I got, just kidding, wouldn't wish that on anyone. Once when they were young we were at the pediatricians office and my oldest was playing with the mini-blinds while the dr was trying to talk to me,I turned to him and said"if you don't stop playing with those I am going to slap you silly". Well the dr got up and left the room while I figured he was going to turn me in for child abuse. He comes back in and hands me a shiny red apple and says"I am so glad and you deserve this, I rarely get to see a parent make their child mind. Usually they let them act like little demons"!!! So relax,Tammy, enjoy what you have while you have it!!

My middle son, who is 3, smeared cream cheese all over our tv one time. That stuff is very hard to wash off, just smears even more. He also took a bunch of spices form the kitchen and mixed them together on his brother's bed...that was a nasty mess...one was chili powder, so it stained the sheets. I'm sure there is much more to come too:)
