I received a call this morning from a Matthew in the Legal Department at Cash Today telling me that I am being recommended for legal action against me and if I call him today by 4pm, then he can offer me a discounted settlement. I have sent these guys 4 validation letters and they have yet to respond to me. He then said on the message that he will be getting my company involved and they will be named in the legal action for garnishment of my wages. First of all, I live in Texas and they can't garnish my wages. To get on the phone with this guy and argue with him is pointless. Has anyone had this same "Legal Action" situation with Cash Today? What should I do now that they are ignoring my validation requests? I don't have the money to pay this folks right now as I was just diagnosed with uterine cancer and I am the only working member of my family with a disabled husband and a 4 year old daughter.

SH

Call them and harass them when you have the time. Send them numerous emails every day pointing out how many laws they are breaking in the us and the uk, and tell them you will sue them!
