I'm 21 years old and I have many small debts to be paid off I want to clear my name but I'm not sure what the total of these debts are and I want to take care of it as soon as possible I feel overwhelmed with the credit mistakes I made when I was younger.

IMO, you should avail the free counseling offered by this site. The counselor will call you up and explain your options in details. If you agree to enter into the program, you will be paying one monthly installment to all your debts. As the rate of interest will be reduced and financial charges will be waived, monthly installment comes down within your reach.

Jennifer, what types of debts are you dealing with? Do you know who you owe? From your original post, it sounds like you may be unsure of what exactly your obligations are. In that case, you may want to start by obtaining a copy of your credit report. Through the FACT Act of 2003, you are entitled to 1 free copy of your credit report from each credit bureau per year. You can get this free copy at http://www.annualcreditreport.com
