In my search for consolidation, I started to fill out an online form, and then changed my mind. Apparently they were still able to collect my information, even though I did not complete the form, and did not send it. However, I did receive two phone calls today, and two emails....One of which is shown below. My reply is first, and I removed the names, including my own, for privacy. However, CareOne wasn't very careful, because you will at the bottom of the message to me, a reply from another customer that was written to them! In the original email, the other customer's name, first and last, were displayed to me. Needless to say, I'm not sure I would be using them, just based on the lack of attention to details displayed here. Any comments on CareOne, or Freedom Point?

Tracie,
I'm very disturbed that your message to me includes a message sent TO YOU, from a ***** (name) ! I'm sure she wouldn't be too happy either! I certainly hope that you would be more careful with MY information. Please let me know what you would do to prevent this occurrence from happening again, and how I can be sure that my information, including my name is secure.

Dear *******,
I recently tried to contact you about the inquiry you made on. It appears that you meet the program requirements of our debt management plan. Please contact us at xxxxxxxxxxxx for your free consultation.
We have helped over 2 million people. So if you are struggling with credit card debt, frustrated by high interest rates and fees, stressed out by financial problems, and barely able to afford your minimum payments, we have a unique and affordable debt management plan that's designed to help you.
Basically, you make one low monthly payment (usually it is a lot less than your current minimum payments) and then we distribute your payment to all of your creditors. We also negotiate on your behalf a lower interest rate with your creditors. Your interest rate under our plan can be as low as 6%. This allows more of your payment to reduce your debt. The result, creditors are paid timely, you reduce your debt quickly, and become debt free in a fraction of the time it takes on your own.
Your first step is having a free consultation with one of our financial fitness coaches to find out if a Debt Management Plan is right for you. Our goal is to work with you to reduce your debt so you can achieve your financial goals. So if you're interested in buying a house, want to save money, or just want to be debt free - we're here to help you.
Please call us today xxxxxxxxxxx to learn how a debt management program can benefit you.
Sincerely,
Tracie L. Anderson
