Has anyone actually received a loan by dealing with ICS Financial Group? I was told that their consulting/collective fee is 75.00. The proposed loan amount is 5000.00 from a bank called Universal something or other.

Advance fee loans are not good. Federal Trade Commission has published some helpful info about advance fee loan, have a look:

I recived a short form app. With an account # and a short letter, saying i meet the requirements for a personal loan of $2,000.00 to $5,000.00 ,or a debt consolidation up to $35,000.00 .
I filled it out and faxed it to them, then i recived a three page general contract agreement, which did not say anything about how the payback or anything about the interest rate,it said to read and sign and send back to address 11700 se 149th st,oklahoma city,ok.73165 [1-405-616-1111] from ,steven anthony[mgr] e-mail [ oklahomaics(at)aol.com ] he asked for $75.00 fee in advance of loan,[processing fee] another # he called from was 405-793-2499
I called phone information for a listing for ics at the address listed on the envolope that was mailed to me. There was no such listing ,however there was a listing for [ics roofing co.]
you tell me ,what do you think? "this is a fraud"

Contact the Attorney General in your state and the Attorney General in Oklahoma and give them the deatils of what has happended, and file a complaint with the FTC. This is an advance fee loan scam. They are becoming very popular in todays world.

This is just more predatory lending and it will set you in a worse position than you are probably in now. Taking out personal loans in order to obliterate current debt is not always the best solution.

I Too recieved the same 3 page contract from ics as those listed below. I quickly typed in the name of the company and the link brought me here. I'm so glad I did. because I would have sent them 75 dollars. However I did file a complaint with the FTC and I suggest anyone who has been contacted by this company do the same as well.

I just received the same offer in the mail today. I think they are just targeting individuals that are clearly in need of money. As tempting as this is, rip it up and throw it away. Trust me, I could use a loan right now but I know that this ICS will cause further financial debt in the worse way. Anyone who gets it, just rip it up.

I was not trying to reach this sight but I am so glad I did. I got the letter from ICS today and decided to check the company out online before I sent my application in, and came up with this sight. THANK YOU, for allowing me not to waste my time or the money for postage.
