I went online and filled out an app for a DCL and now all these companies are calling and I'm confused. I ended up doing an unsecured CC with one comany, but they don't do PDLs. I have also been contacted by a law firm, I heven't called back yet but they seem to know more (of course) than some of the other companies that have been calling. I have learned my lesson with credit and PDLs. I just don't want to get burned more than I already have.

Umm, vcarrigan... with all due respect to the company in question, and to the Guest who posted, you have no idea whether this is a real recommendation or a company troll. Some companies pay people to post positive things about them in online forums. Please don't take a single "they're great" statement from a stranger as a basis for a decision.

Welcome to the forums.
Thanks for your concern. We all interact with others and come to know about something new. If we don't talk and take recommendations, how will we know who is good and who is bad. If you see someone saying good for a company, you might have also seen someone saying bad. Eventually, this helps in creating a difference between the good and the bad ones. A person is always free to make his choice of decisions. If someone is disliked, I can always back off. Let these recommendations help the person reach the right company.
