Hi guys.....

Sorry I haven't been around much. Been very busy between kids and work. I know a lot of you have been PMing me about my wrist surgery, it is on Monday morning. I went in today for my pre-op physical, and during the EKG they noticed an abnormality so they did a heart ultrasound (echocardiogram). They discovered that I have a somewhat serious heart condition called aortic insufficiency. I'm not sure what they are going to do about it, but I do know that my activities are a bit limited for now, so hopefully I will be around more often after my surgery, if I can type! Anyway, just wanted to let everybody know since I got a billion PMs

Thanks for the prayers guys! I really appreciate it. The doc says that basically it boils down to having a valve replacement.....kinda scary but I will be just fine, and it's not something that needs to be done right this second, but soon I guess. I'll keep you guys updated!!

YAY Mary! I'm glad it went ok....Sorry it hurts though...Hopefully they gave you some good pain killers!
