I got a call on recorder fro 800-220-3350 and said they were from Sizemore Office, don't know if I understood it right. Anyway called back the other day and they answered with another name. I asked about that and he said they were tons of offices in that building. Anyway they have caller id because he said I don't see your name anywhere, and started asking me if I knew, and proceeded to say about 10 different names. Well,I started laughing and said "do you want me to get my phone book and tell you who all I know from that?" I guess he got flusteres and hung up!!! But they have called today on recorder and I was wondering if anyone knew who they actually were..Thanks

I Googled the number and Accounts Receivables Management Inc came up. Have they told you which account they are collecting? DV 'em via CMRRR.

Thanks CurlyCarl.Haven't heard anymore from them. I'm thinking it might be an old account that my son who is on disability had,and unfortunately he sent them a payment quite a while back. Otherwise it would be over the SOL.No they never said what they were collecing on,just kept asking if I knew any of these people he was naming! Am I right in assuming they cannot garnish on his disability check? I want to be sure so if I talk to them I want to have my facts right.

Yea, they cannot garnish disability check. You might like to search your state laws for garnishment so that you can name the source while talking to them. Which state are you from?

Actually if you do a search on MSN.com it comes up with many different collection agencies.

I talked to a guy by the name of Bill Paxton he left a message for my roommate and told me it was regarding a former property of his. ( he hasn't lived in that property for over 10 years) I'm thinking it is some sort of scam...

PostPosted: Tue May 22, 2007 6:07 pm Subject: I received a call from the same number

I just received a call from the same number. I had received a call from a Karen at AR Management. Her number was 1-800-220-3350, extension 6478 regarding a case number that was supposedly assigned to me. Sounded totally legitimate, like someone might have opened up a credit card on my behalf. I foolishly gave her the last 4 of my social and she said, yes this is the last 4 that we have on file for you. If I would have been smarter, I would have asked her what last 4 did she have for me. They said that I had a Mastercard that had not been paid on in 5 months. But I do not have a mastercard. They listed a few people with the same name as me with different addresses and asked me if I was one of them. They then told me to call a 1-800-220-3350 number. I called the number and when the guy answered, he said Hello.. No company greeting, no nothing. Then I told him my name and I could hear some lady in the background taking up a storm. And not about business either. He proceeded to ask me what my address was, he listed a few addresses and I told him no. Then he had the audacity to ask me if I would give him my social security number just for verification purposes and I told him absolutely not. Then he said well I dont really have any information for you and was really short with me. This was most definately a scam. I hope nobody was tricked into giving out too much information to these criminals. I am sending an email out to our local news station to see if they can get to the bottom of this

My husband got a call yesterday from this number saying they were looking for me because I haven' paid my student loans. I thought it was odd since I just mailed my payment 1 week earlier. I called the number back and when someone answered they said "I'm so glad you called back" without giving them any information. The woman on the phone said that I had an out standing student loan for Texas University. I am born and raised in Florida and have never been to TU. Be very careful and don't give them any information. I have also been getting calls from this number as well 800-220-3350 - when i answer the call hangs up after 2 seconds. I called them back and all I heard was laughing. Be careful!

the number shows up in different places, one being Phone: 800-220-3350 Fax: 856-867-1000 belonging to Joe Burch Sr. Vice President and another goes to Collection and Recovery Solutions, as some mentioned above.

this number has called me 3 times now today. the first time I hung up on them. They had the wrong person. The second time they laughed at me for "pretending" to be someone else. Both those calls were from a woman. the third I let VM get and it was a man named Tim O'Brian with some crap about me having to call them before 9pm tonight or legal action would be taken. I AM NOT WHO THEY ARE LOOKING FOR!! Yes, they asked to speak to a woman. yes. I am a woman. Just not the one they named. These people ar very very rude and will ruin your day.

PostPosted: Thu Aug 02, 2007 10:55 am Subject: They are Scams

I got a call today from them after missing a few of their calls on several occasions.

They said I was paying my HSBC Mastercard fine but I have suddenly stopped and it went to collections. I have never banked nor had an HSBC Mastercard and then they said it says "Orchard" on it and it was issued from HSBC. They then said they were calling to set up a payment schedule with them to pay off my debt. I would send them money each month to pay off my debt. This is complete BS.

THESE GUYS ARE SCAMS trying to extract personal information and money from me and individuals.

That was smart of you not to give personal ionfo out. Too many people give this info. If these places are real, and you owe them, they already have your info. I never give out personal info, nor do I give my account info to anyone, I pay by money orders, unless it is a utility company or something like that. The scary thing is, my mom received a call recently by a woman wanting to talk to my father about his Medicare coverage. The woman gave her my dad's ss number, and birthday, and wanted to speak with him. She wouldn't say how she received it, only that he was reffered-trouble is, my dad died 26 years ago Laughing So there are always wasy these nuts can get your info!..KAren

I called this number because my mom passed away this friday and i needed to get the account closed. HSBC gave me this number saying it was in collections. I called them and a guy answered no name no hello nothing. I told him my mom passed away and wanted to know where to send the death cert. he told me to hold on an some nasty lady came on wanting me to pay my moms bill. i told her it is not my responsibility to pay this and she said some nasty things about my mom and hung up on me. I called them back three times and each time they hung up. I called a fouth time and got a NJ office. They said the other office is in Alabama. The name of the collection agency they gave me is A M Management.
