Is it CBE Group collections who calls me from 319-274-1902?

319-274-1902 started calling me today 06/08/2009 over an old Amoco gas bill from Feb 2000. This was supposed to be included in a bankruptcy but the lawyer we hired missed a total of 3 accounts and this was one of them. NEVER NEVER NEVER admit to any debt they ask about even if you owe it as this causes the statute of limitations to be re-started as of the day you acknowledge anything. Amoco never once in 9 years ever tried to contact me and now CBE is, however, Florida statute 95.11(3)(p) states that after 4 years they have no legal leg to stand on. They try to talk over you and force a payment by threatening your credit. If you get dragged into court you must use the Statute of limitations expired defense. Look up your state attorney general to find your state statutes. Fair debt collection act states if you tell them to stop calling they must, that does not mean they will stop their efforts to collect but if you end up in court and your limitations are up say so in court and that should be the end of it.

This is CB GROUP COLLECTIONS. Watch out from them when they call they tell you that you owe money on a past due accout when the account was paid off. It's all late fees or interest. I asked for information on the account and they say they mailed it, they never did. My card was paid in full and they tell me it wasn't and they want a cc# to pay it off. Not happening, so be very careful with the company.

This is hilarious. In the past 3 weeks i have recieved over 50 calls from them. I continually aked them to top calling me They did not care. I just called CBE group almost 200 times . They had a police officer call me back and threaten to arrest me. I told him if they keep calling me i will keep calling them back. He said they wont. I think I just created a way to stop harrasing call. KEEP CALLING THEY WILL LEAVE YOU ALONE......The officers name is Vaultier from waterloo IOWA HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

This @ss holes call my phone each and every day- I have ringer off- and I see their calls on my computer each day. I call them back to decline ( I owe nobody!!!) their robocalls and get put on hold!!. I thought written permission was needed form caller to be allowed sending robocalls. they may p/ss me off pretty soon.

The have no Jurisdiction outside their lil cow pasture!! I have been contacting the FCC about this folks. Wish me luck!!

I guess, most of the persons pictured, all are employs. I would write your congressperson, so they will not get their government contract renewed!! They collect for the IRS-believe it or not!!!!!!!!

This is a very possible , class action, and I recommend you save all phone call records folks.

This CBE Group in CA is trying to say I signed a Dish contract and I did not. It is a case of mistaken identity and they won't give up.

I've been getting calls from 319-833-1308. They ask for my husband and they always call when he's at work. They're also cve and when I ask what they want they say we need permission from your husband in order to talk to you. I asked him about it and he said he doesn't owe anyone anything. What should I do next time they call?
