You are going to have to prove that it cost you money for an inbound call to your cell phone. Especialy since that is your only contact number and almost every cell phone company has free inbound calling.
You need to send in a letter of dispute and any proof on why you feel you do not owe the amount listed on the debt. Be detailed in your dispute letter explain exactly why you don't owe this debt or the amount. Because they are going to be going over you bill details.

7:55 and not 8? A 5 minute difference is not a great deal. Filing a complaint will bring it down to who's clock is correct or not. I mean you can but I bet they can get that one dismissed easily.

collection agencies usualy have a signed contactact with your creditors. 8 times out of ten they get paid if you pay the creditor or not. Paying them, if you haven't paid the balance in full with the creditors, usualy gets the calls to stop if you work out something agreeable with them for the both of you.
It really isn't sticking it to them if they get paid no matter who you pay.
