We used the same lendwer but couldn't pay off the loan(never any money)...they took 90 dollars/every 2 weeks for about 8 months so thats like well over 2000. but when we got our taxes back we were going to pay off the 300 but they told us we owed nothing more. We havn't heard from them since. I was relieved. Just a though for ya...

I got a loan from these people and never even saw a single email, form or document. My husband and I got a loan from another company, had no problems, paid it off early. We then decided to do one again with them, and we ended up getting that loan plus the Geneva-Roth loan. I still have yet to receive a single email from them. Can I block them from getting money out of my account, maybe if I do that they will contact me.

I'm sure you can request that your bank block the payments. They are required by the Truth in Lending Act to provide you with a disclosure of the fee schedules on any type of loan you apply for.

i got an email from geneva roth/ loan pointusa saying my loan had been approved, but i don't remember applying for one. are they automatically deposit and take funds from my account, or do i have to sign a form manually? i think i started applying and it said they would call me to verify information but i haven't received a call and don't want to.

Sounds pretty strange if you ask me. I would suggest paying back this loan ASAP and not taking out any more. PDLs are predatory lending at it's worst.
