And we're just partying hard in the "Got a Call from allied interstate" this clown who calls himself Hell Collector got somebody's goat. So, I'm quoting from Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Jessi is dishing out schoolyard taunts, and John is making faces. You should join us, it is ever so much fun!

I am glad so many people are having success getting these loan sharks to forgive their debts with them. but I must make a cautionary statement. Many of the letters are using phrases like "written off" , PLEASE BE CAREFUL! This is another way of saying "charge off", which may leave the account in collections.

Make sure they specifically state (as Sonic did here) that they are marking the account "CLOSED" and they the will remove any derogatory reports made to and credit bureaus, and finally that they (their agents or assigns) will make nor future attempts to collect theses debts.

Keep hard copies of these letters, emails etc for at least 7, but preferably at least 10 years. When printing emails, try and print all header information to establish the email indeed originated form the creditor in questions, and wasn't made up.

I emailed and faxed them every three hours til they finally responded. I hit them with all the laws they have violated, the threats they issue, mentioned anout the voluntary wage assignment and digital signature, included the letter to the attorney generals in the United States and the letter to the attorney general in BC, Malta and Consumer Affairs of BC. I hit them where it hurt and they backed down. You have to use the laws they are violating against them in order to get them.

I know I am starting to be a pain. Please anyone have fax numbers to the collection dept at Sonic and CTC. Thank you Tammy for the info. You might want to start charging for being an advocate for people with PDL loans. I know I would pay you to make it go away.

Thank you
