Hello, I took out an internet loan with FTR Processing and lost my job and was unable to finish paying off my loan. I have tried to contact FTR directly with no success. Today I received another call from 714-243-5226 and a really rude man that changed his name each time we talked. He told me on the first call that if I did not give him $500 within an hour that I was going to be arrested and would have to go to jail and that I would have to get an attorney to get out of jail. Then he hung up on me. I called him back to ask him why he hung up on me and to try to resolve the matter. He again told me that If I did not pay him (now the price went up to $600) that I would go to jail and again he hung up on me but this time he spit in the phone and me and cursed me. I called him back and told him what I thought about the wasy he was acting and I told him that if he called me again that he would have to deal with my attorney. He called back later and the price is up to $750 now. I told him to fax me the paperwork so that I could see if he were legite or not. He says he will fax but assured me he is legitamate. So far I have not received the fax and I am not sending this rude A_ _ HOLE no money. I will be glad to pay the bill I owe. But I want to know for sure that the compnay I owe is who I am paying. Anyone else have this problem? Do you have any more suggestions I can do? Thanks.

These are common collection practices for PDL's. They try to scare you into giving them an obscene amount of money and then 4 or 5 months later they call with the same threat to extort more money from you..How much did you originally take out from them and how much did they take out of your bank account for fees? What state are you in?

I received a call from my state rep in oregon this morning. As it turns out, m1y direct is not licensed to do loans to oregon residents.they are not licensed in the state of oregon, and have been caught in california for the same thing( the state of california put a stop to their loans in that state)no matter what state you are in, please make some phone calls to your state offices, find someone who will help, there are people who can check m1y's licensing or lack of, in your state.
If anyone, ay all, is an oregon resident, please get your complaint and any and all documentation and send it to-

We are in the same boat as you people. We just got a call from a NASTY collections company and we were wondering if they ever put any teeth into the threats. We have gotten the number from the posts so we are (trying to) working with the company. Thanks for the help.

Me, again. I just looked at our bank account again and I don't see any money that was actually deposited! I counted about 7 or maybe 8 withdrawals (@ 60.00 a pop), but I couldn't find any actual money given to us. What can we do?

They are doing this to me, I was contacted in the summer of 2006 to pay my debt & I did. In an hour. I was about to have a heart attack. Now another supoosedly legal firm is calling wants the money in an hour, threatened me with stolen funds(illegal in IN)& caling the CEO where I've worked 23 years. I am looking for the receipt where I paid it but this happened in the summer of 2006. I've tried M1Y direct & they gave me a # for yet another company. I asked for validation & all they sent was a letter saying I owed the money. Is that validation? These people appear to be crooks & are rude and nasty. They do not want to work out arrangements. They hang up on me. What in the world do I do?

I was actually in the same situation.. They have been taking money out of our account when the loan was already paid in full. I went round and round with the people at B & L they are not pleasent people but if you want to take a chance and talk to them to see if you can get your issues resolved the # 866.656.1136 and that is to B & L Marketing. I spoke with a guy by the name of Doug, which he tried to deny everything.

So far, I haven't had any success in reaching the B & L people. Here's a heads-up about another outfit to watch out for. It's called BIG Investments. Tthey'll give you a loan, all right, but they won't accept paydowns. Yopu either have to extend or pay off in full. Judging from the accents these people have, they're not operating from the U.S.

BIG is a recurring topic in this forum. Sorry you're having trouble with them. If you search the site on "BIG, Int.", you should get loads of info on them.
