I have also been bothered by Allied Interstate. They continue to call my business fax line, and I have told them several times it is a wrong number. The lady today told me "it's not that big of a deal, and she didn't have time to deal with it",then hung up on me, well it is a big deal to me when it affects my business. So I think this is the number to the main office 800-811-4214 if anyone needs it. On the other hand if you owe them money then deal with it. Or pay them.

The best way to stop them (I've stopped 2 so far) is to tell them that you are recording their call. Make sure you get their name and company out of them and make them repeat it. Tell them you are going to give the copy of the message to your lawyer and you're going to sue them. Give as much attitude as needed...seriously what are they going to do?? Throw a punch over the phone!?

I received phone calls for Alma Lopez and Rich Willis from Allied Data Corp in June of 2006. I am now receiving calls for the same couple (plus Diane ???) from Allied Interstate 'a client services company'. The first call came in on 7/23/2009 at 4:13 p.m. and the second on 7/24/2009 at 8:19 a.m., blasting me out of sleep.

The number that is calling me is 800-652-7533. I called back both times, informed them that there was no-one at my number by those names, and requested not to be called again. Both times I was assured that my number would be removed. This last time I was told it would take 'up to 48 hours'.

What a lot of poeple do not realise is that when you call a toll-free number. the company being called has to pay for the call. Having worked for a major long distance provider, I know that the cost of the calls can be as little as 2 cents per minute. However, the pennies can add up if enough people make enough calls ....

I have received 3 calls in the last week from Allied looking for a friend I haven't seen in 17 years and lives 1500 miles away. They won't tell you anything. We've asked to be taken off their call list, we'll see. The number they callme from is 1-818-450-5620. Good luck

They cant tell you anything. You were probably listed as a reference. Expect more calls from the next agency.

I have been harrassed by these people for two months. First they were calling for two people that I don t know or care to know and they kept on saying we are sorry we will take your number off the list. They would call 3 to 4 times a day for those two women. I put a call block on them and that didn't do an good they just used a different number. Now there is three people they are asking for. I talked to the manager and he got rude and nasty and said i said I took your number off our list and hung up on me. I shouldnt be harrased for someones elses debt. I even called back ,and I know that they have caller id and know that I am not any of those three woman.

i am an employee there and I understand you are upset with the way sometimes things are handled with us but at the same time we are allowed to do the things we do, when we go through training we are giving handbooks on the law for calling people and it is drilled into us. We have a whole law department that knows what we can and cannot do, and yes I will admit sometimes those calls do get out of hand. You can report us and file lawsuits but obviously we keep winning them because we still call. We have the right to call anybody to get a hold of a person to contact them. Don't make us out to be the bad guys we are just doing our job and when we call you its an auto dialer we don't choose who we call its already been chosen. If you tell us its a wrong number we have to remove your number. Just know when you do contact your lawyers they will tell you the same thing.

Wow somone,

HAHAHA! By your boss, maybe. Not by the FDCPA or FCRA, that's for sure!

Ah, well there's the problem! Instead of reading them, you're giving them away!

lol. You have a whole law dept. to defend yourself against your unethical and illegal business practices!

Yes, that's right - you *do* have to! BUT YOU OFTEN DON'T!!

132 - yes ONE HUNDRED & THIRTY-TWO people sued you so far in 2009 ALONE!

One of America's worst collection agencies!

So how many politicians has your boss paid off? How's the Kool-Aid?

Oh wait, you're a poor little innocent (but misunderstood) collector. My bad.

This is funny. I received a call this evening from 1-877-642-1263. I heard what sounded like a recording say something like Allied Interstate and a partial mini-miranda. Then some foreign dude got on and ask for my stepson who is 39 and has never had this number or ever lived in this house. I told the man he didn't live here. He then flipped me to a recording that said something like this call was being recorded. Bottom line is I was told this was a collection agency. I am not even going to tell him they called. This is his deal and he don't give a shit anyway.

After reading a ton of compliants about this company here is my plan:

Document this call. If they call again I will try and get an address to send a CD. Considering I could barely understand this collector this could prove difficult. I will send them the letter return receipt. If they call again I will document again. If they get shitty I will hit the intercom button and have a witness. I will send a letter again, return receipt, recapping the conversation and give them the opportunity to send my $2000.00 directly to me without them incurring further charges for my damn attorney fees. I am not gonna start taking shit like this for a bill that does not belong to me. I have my own problems to deal with.

It is amazing. When you pay a company, they are warm and friendly. When you overpay a company, trying to receive a reimbursement is like pulling teeth. LONG AND PAINFUL. The manager in the Arizona office, actually told me that he was too busy to call me and advise when my reimbursement would be issued. He sttd he has other accounts to work, and 14 people under him. Obviously Allied did not hire a multi tasked, or even somewhat organized man for a Management position. I have never heard a Manager state he can not complete a task. Wow. Customer Service went right out the door. No wonder this company has more complaints on the web about them. I feel sorry for the owners of this company, as his/her employees do not value the reputation or the integrity of the buisness.

Brandy....you are not the customer so do not expect customer service. The customer is the creditor.

Your refund is not revenue producing...thus you are not a priority.
