I would not take one cent from them. They will bleed you dry. You will wind up paying over 1000.00 for a 300.00 loan. Stay away

The first time yrs ago when I took out loans I screwed up bigtime. They don't tell you at most places that in order to pay in full you must contact them 3 business days in advance. Paying in full is the only way I would deal with these people I borrow $300 pay off my $350in 2 weeks and be done with it and if you need more money for that 2 weeks borrow again. Trust me it beats having to keep paying $60 every 2 weeks on the same $300. Pay it in full is your best bet and don't forget to read the fine print because you usually have to notify them in advance that you want to pay in full.

As stated above I have been having a lot of trouble finding a number for them to extend my loan and the time is ticking. Does anyone have a contact number?

I am not sure this company or many companies like it who are payday loans for the desperate person needing assistance are good. Ameriloan is certainly not friendly in assisting resolution of your account. I requested to pay off the loan earlier and told them to go ahead and debit the money. When it didnot show up as debited and I call to find out why, they insisted they had no record of the conversation. As a result the loan would if paid when I asked would not have incurred an additional $90.00, I checked just today becuase they still hadn't debit it and when I called in I talked with a supervisor who said it was to have been debited, but now they are waiting until my payday to do it. That was not what I asked her to do.
Personally, these payday loans are a rip off and anyone seeking to use them are placing their financial situation in a much higher risk and cost. I suggest try working your financial issues out with your creditor and avoid paying 300-400% more for a loan.

So if I have names and exts of people at Ameriloan that have left messages for me, what do I do with this information? One of them states that it doesnt matter what state I live in, they only work with OK law and I have misinterpreted the law anyway. This man said that my account would continue to be in collections. Although technically he didnt threaten me, it was implied. The other one has a woman who works for Ameriloan (who believes she has hung up on my call) reading another debtors email. What should I do with this information?

you file AG complaints with your state AG and the OK AG.this is an illegal bottomfeeder with no license whatsoever.if you paid back the principle in there fees.you owe nothing more.know that they can't and won't do a thing except call and threaten.

Thank you Paul! Should I also complain to my state's Banking and Finance department? It has been suggested before instead of contacting the AG. Out of curiosity what will they do? How long should I expect the threatening phone calls?

i would prefer your states AG.if you want file with the OK banking and finance as well as the OK AG.the more complaints the better.being as this is illegal bottomfeeding slime.they will call and threaten alot of stuff they can't do.like tell you your going to be arrested, you commited fraud, they will gatnish your wages.they can't do none of it.don't let them get to you.just file the complaints CMRRR and wait for them to sign for it.

I BORROWED $200 FROM AMERILOAN, AND THEY TOOK A LITTLE OVER $600 DOLLARS FOR A $200 DOLLAR LOAN, THAT IS SO RIDICULOUS IF YOU ASK ME, THERE ARE TWO OTHER LOAN COMPANIES THAT I'VE USED, AND THEY'RE PRETTY STRAIGHT, THAT DISCOUNT ADVANCES.COM AND CASHNET USA. I WOULD NEVER EVER USE AMERILOAN AGAIN.

Ameriloan sent the following to the BBB:

To Whom It May Concern:
We recognize this complaint asresponse to a template of a form letter circulating the Internet. This form letter is full of mis-leading and inaccurate information. Unless this customer has a specific complaint regarding the handling of their account, we do not believe a response is warranted. Thank you for your consideration in this matter.

How should I respond?

Interestingly enough, I got the exact same response this morning from United Cash Loans. So, you are right, they are circulating their own response.

I like many people don't read the 3 pages of fine print...because honestly i've taken out payday loans before and it worked like this..i took out the loan i paid back the loan plus a fee......they just take out money automatically until you schedule a payment of the loan.....so they will just continually take out $105.00 from my bank until i actually scheduled a payment with them....they have no interest in going out of their way to tell you that this is what will happen. Definately a scam if you ask me.

I filed AG complaints with my state. Do I need to do so with theirs? Also, these complaints were an online form that did not have a print out option. Should I also type something up and send it to those companies showing that I have complained to the AG?
