Don't knock these loans too bad, I borrowed $200 from a friend and it ended me paying him interest plus dinner. The darned dinner cost me $40, I would have been better off if I had went with a payday loan, if you can pay them back early you shouldn't be anymore in debt to them than you would so called friends, I did get a payday loan one time, and it was no more expensive then my friend or a finance company. Anyway whe nyou are desperate these loans can be a lifesaver if you will have the means to pay off soon, it is just what it says, a temporary loan.

edith ann is a shll.pure and simple.no internet pdl will let you payoff right away.in fact their business model is to debit forever.so quit it with the stupid scenarios as they are ridiculous.besides i doubt if you have friends edith, and if you did i hope they are seeing this.you won't have those friends much longer.we will not only knock these illegal loans, but expose shills like you as just that shills.

Does Ameriloan ever just lay off? They seem to call and threaten lots to send the debt to the collections department if they don't get a response from them. I don't respond and then they are gone until I hear from them again with the same threat.

now have another ? Can a bank or other financial institution withdraw their money first before paying other debts. It is happening to a relative's account which is making a bill not get paid. They now owe the company more than $ 100.00 cause of the bank or financial institution

I'm afraid so, as long as they are following the original contract agreed upon.

Oh wait, I see what you mean. It depends on the "due date" of the loan, check to see what they agreed upon as the date the payment was scheduled to come out.

got a letter from the California Attorney General about the collection agencies today. they have said that anyone can use any phone any where to call you about collecting debt payments. i am so lucky i have utitlize my answering machine and caller id. They are very useful if you are getting calls from people or businesses you are not dealing with.

Our records do not indicate what this customer is claiming, we keep close track of all calls. We have removed her work # as a courtesy. She knows she owes this from recorded communication with her, She requested a $250.00 deposit to be placed in her account at her request, for her own personal use, and did not pay any of that back. She has only been called at work, since the other 2 numbers she placed on her application were false, to avoid further calls, we strongly suggest she contact our recovery dept at 1-800-404-9026, and make arrangements. Please also note we are NOT

My question is, do they have any legal standing if I just close out my accounts...They have taken more then the amount owed and an absurd amount for finance charges and say I still owe more...I'm closing out my bank account and opening a new one. Do they have any legal standing to come after me for the additional amount the say I owe? Such a mistake!!!!
