Online resource for banking questions

I know many people here have had problems getting their financial institution to honor stop payments, or to return money that is being held up after they requested the acct closed, and other situations. I came across a great forum last night at

bankersonline.com/ubbthreads/postlist.php/Cat/0/Board/consumer

In their forum they have an "Ask a Banker" question, where like in this forum even an unregistered guest can ask questions about banking procedures and policies. For instance, last night I asked about our credit union not reviewing unauthorized transactions because the information is in hubby's name. Today I got an answer that as joint acct holder the credit union should have honored my request with no delay, and I was given supporting law citation.

I was unsure of posting a question there until I saw someone trying to get information on how to start a pdl company, and the bankers slammed them down. Stated that they don't like predatory lending and pdls. I would consider them an ally then. Smile

That is s great site!! Its gonna take me awhile to check it all out, but they seem to have a lot of useful information. I have also seen others post references to that same site , I want to say it was something about Federal Reserve Regulations.. A definite resource for consumers.

Clay,

weeks ago I posted a link to the Bankers Online site, in regards to a question about Reg E. Others may have posted links to info on that site, I may not have caught it all. They have a LOT of interesting info on there. I spent hours last night reading their forum. Very useful imo.
