debt consolidators- the scum of the earth. why pay someone else on top of the bills you cant afford to pay anyways? I'm glad the federal government is finally starting to regulate these bottom feeders

Hello Stacy,
I recomend you never enroll into any settlement program for 60 months. In my opinion anything that will take over 24 months and definately over 36 months should be avoided. If it will take longer than that to raise the money, then a debt settlement approach is not really appropriate for your circumstances

i went to their website and checked it out... i sent them an email yesterday and today they called meand emailed me. we called the collection agency and recorded the call... these guys at URL removed per TOS found 6 consumer rights violations in the conversation so their attorney is going to carry out my case... it was easy... 6 easy steps. All this time i thought it would be difficult to sue the colleciton agency... debtmeout.com doesnt charge for the recordings, the time, the consultation, or anything. They just get paid out of my settlement with the agency... crazy... easy money in my pocket... thanks for the advise guys.

I recently had a bankruptcy in the UK. Last summer i just made the move to California and was considering starting a business. Would i have problems with starting my business? Also my credit history is not that good in the UK. Being UK Bankrupt was a very hard process on me to immigrate as well. Currently i am working, but i do want to open a business this year.

A credit card is a great financial tool, especially if you are getting some sort of bonus points from it, when it is paid off fully by the due date and there are no annual fees. This gives the user free credit until the due date. By missing the due date, the user is starting down a path of financial woes.
The payday loan is similar as it creates a debt with high interest that eats into the net earnings of the one taking out the loan. They both have the disastrous effect of giving the impression of free money or the feeling that the interest paid is worth it.
Both lead to financial distress if misused.
Two good sites to help if this happens are: www.bankruptcysolutionssite.com or www.howtofixyourdebt.com
