James, you can go through the Free Sample Letter e-book in the Books section of the site.

Or, visit the Sample Letters page and collect the debt validation letter there.

Default Great Information!! THANK YOU!

You guys are a Godsend. You will never know how much you have helped me, just by reading the information on the Forums.

I am still a little weary about which Settlement Company to go with.

Do you have any suggestions?

Thanks again for all your help.

Hi Sandra, how much is your total debt. Do a thorough research before you choose the perfect debt settlement company for handling your debts. You need to be very careful of the many scams around. Most of them will give you hopes of setting your debts, but they do nothing. Check for the company's feedbacks with your state attorney general. You will be sure of working with a company that is reputed.

Have you signed up for the free counseling here? You will hear from a consultant in your area. He will discuss about your repayment plan with the creditors. Later you can decide whether you want to get started with them.
