Payday Loans and the payment plans

Well I have been contacted by two of the payday loan companies that I borrowed money from. Actually, I have two loans with one company (its two different companies). I first defaulted on them on Friday. The first guy called from Interim Unlimited. We came to an agreement somewhat on how I would pay back the loan. He said he would be willing to do $50 a paycheck until September. I can live with that. The only problem is that he wants me to fax a copy of the receipt on the very same day that I buy the money order. I won't have access to a fax after 5:30 on that day. I told him that I could fax it to him on Monday morning but he didn't like that at all. He told me he was going to freeze the account but since I cannot fax him the receipt on that day he wouldn't be able to freeze it for me. The other guy called from Fast Cash and CashNet500. I had loans with them for $325 and $400 apiece. He was willing to settle for $450 for both accounts. I eagerly accepted that because I know a good deal when I see one. He was willing to let me make three monthly payments of $150.

So now I just need to hear from the final two. On one I just owe $100 and the other $250. So maybe things are not that bad after all. I think I can see a light at the end of the tunnel.

Good for you! Use some good budgeting tips on how to save money from your total income. This way, you can surely contribute larger payments and take control of your financial situation. I am learning from my experiences while paying off all the accounts. The lessons learnt so far won't allow me to commit the same mistakes again.

Will he not accept you faxing it after 5:30PM? If you can't do it, you can't do it. I would just go ahead and do it after 5:30. It does seem like he is being unreasonable but look at the caliber of companies we deal with here.

The problem is that I will be at work on those days and it would be very hard for me to go and purchase the money order. After leaving work on those days I won't have access to a fax until Monday. It's not that I can't go during my lunch hour and purchase the money order because I can. It is just a minor inconvenience. I had been planning on purchasing the money order after work and then get it prepared to be mailed and then mail it. Then on Monday I would fax a copy of the receipt. He might actually have the money order by Monday if I mailed it on Friday. Yet still he wants a receipt with my social security number on it. I told him that I didn't want to put my social security number on the money order and he just ignored me and said that I must put the social security number on the money order. The other place also wants my social security number.

I've had several payday loans.....these people are ruthless and do their collecting in an underhanded fashion. I still owe one company, but can no longer find any information on them and do not have their phone number anymore. I would like to deal with them, directly, rather than the collection agent that's harrassing me right now. He made threats of filing internet/banking fraud charges against me during a phone call, yesterday. Has anyone heard of No-Faxing-Payday-Loans? Help!

What is the name the debit comes up on your checking account? Ask your bank to trace the debit and they should be able to find out for you.

You probably know this but usually copy stores (like Kinkos, drugstores, etc) have faxing centers that cost about a dollar a page. Just some info.

Dorothy Folk,

Who are them? If you can give us more history of your debts, we will be able to help you.

The number to reach Platinum B is 732-726-5692. They are in connection with SJM Marketing. I guess you have some payday loans that might have been sent to collections.

Call the original lender and explain your financial problems. It will be sound good if you can offer them a realistic payment plan and send a partial payment. They might cash your check and desist from any actions against you. Take this initiative and prevent yourself from serious consequences.
