I have looked for a cancel wage assignment but have not been able to locate one. Can you please help me as Cash Transfer Centers have started harassing us? I am jumping on the boat right now and shutting them down.

My sister had just sent one stating:

I, name, wish to revoke the wage assignment that I signed on date, effective immediately.

This worked for her. She sent one to the payday loan company and a copy to her payroll department.

You are most welcome emsbchristy

It is always recommended to send the copy of revocation letter to the payroll department as well.

Basically, payroll department has the option of discarding the wage assignment request by your creditor unless it is a court order.

I don't know if you live in Illinois or not, but Illinois has a site called Illinois Legal Aid. You can go there and type in Wage Assigment and your zip code and it will give you a list. Look up what to do if someone put a lien on you without going to court. It should take you to a line that says Wage Assignment Revocation. Hope it helps you.
