All these 'unauthorized debits' you guys keep on about are, in fact, attempts by cash2day to re-collect already bounced payments from consistent defaulters.

One of the terms i mentioned before is that the applicant agrees to authorize cash2day to debit/credit via ACH for the period the loan is active. This will mean that if people bounce multiple payments, cash2day will debit for each of those missed payments on future paydates until cleared.

So how are they unauthorized payments?

They do not take any money after the loan is paid off.

When a loan of $200 is taken, the company keeps on withdrawing $79 twice a month sometimes, for a period of six months, till the consumer is not forced to close the checking account.

Cash Today does make unauthorized debits by taking out money from the checking account even when the person has not applied for the loan. The company uses the consumer's personal and bank information when they visited their website. What is the need for them to take out money when no agreement has been made?

Only these fraudulent activities compel a person to term such debits as unauthorized and take necessary actions against the company.

If a loan has been taken and the consumers have defaulted on it, it is his responsibility to pay it back. He is not lamenting on it. He is raising his voice towards the unjust activities done by the company. The company does not give any agreement papers to the consumers. They don't send any itemized statements of the payments made by them. It can be helpful to the person if the company sends such details. But they are not willing to do so and the person's patient is tested.

I've received several loans from Cash2day. I don't like using them, but If you call 3 days prior to when the loan is due, then they will take the full amount of payment. My problem is that the loan limit is $200 and they charge $39.50 on every $100, but everytime I ask them to take the whole amount, they do. I always call the 800-680-2177 number and hold the line or press '0' to speak to someone. If a answering machine comes on, I just hang up and call back until someone answers.

I arranged payment arrangements but ive noticed everyone says I should get these in writing. I'm in a significat hurry to get these paid off (my family might kick me out if this isnt handled quick enough) If I had them email me confirming this would it still have the same power as if I had them send a physical letter? I'm only concerned with this because the mail at my house takes 2-4 weeks instead of days.

CarlaW, basically, the important thing is to have some proof from the company about the agreement made. If mail takes longer time to reach you, than email can be preferred at such situation. You must have some available proof of the actions taken so that your part explains everything.

Does anyone know if this company is linked with Cash Today and ICS? I have a loan out with them for $200. They have been taking different amounts than what I agreed to since beginning the loan. Once it was $90, another time $45. I have put a stop payment on it, but they find a way around it. I have even tried closing my account, but they won't do it unless I dispute the claims. Can I dispute them if I still owe on the loan? How do you get in touch with these people? Any insight would be very helpful. Thank you.

ICS is indeed closed....let me put some light on this topic

Cash2day or any other company linked to it is a payday loan company and all the sales made are over the phone. So there is nothing in writing. Everything is verbally recorded. Basically its a verbal agreement which you make with the company. If you need a copy of the agreement you can always call em up and ask it to be played to you and you can record it.

Now the calls can be stopped at your work place provided you call up the company and make some sort of arrangement.

The processing fee is different for every plan you sigh yourself to. If you have sight yourself on the new plans the fee will reduce by $5 every payday and there is a threshold which is $40. If you miss a payment its can be or has to be paid at a later date.

The company works from UK and everything is as per UK jurisdiction. The company can really sign customers for wage garnishment but the cost involved is tremendous as they would have to actually send a lawyer from UK to US to file a suit. If you have defaulted a lot they can give you discounts and offer to bring down the balance. I would say if you dont default in the first place they wont have to ever call you and all calls will be from customers end.

The company is always ready to work things out with customers provided they call them and open their heart out.

See there all people who know about payday loans and just want to take loans and run away with the money so company cant really trust anyone. They mean business. It gives people who need money but also wants it back as its not a charity.

Its not about money its about principles...if you take money from someone so eventually have to pay it back to them.

First of all its gives loan to people who have a bad credit rating so the fact should be appreciated and customers should be paying it back.

I'm saying all this because I work there. Now that doesnt mean I'm on company's side. I do feel bad about customers who are harassed and its wrong. I personally will never do that. If cust has to pay he/she will pay no matter what.

I hope this information helps.
