Default Use this Number to Cancel

I fell for this too...the first 7 days are free and then you have to call to cancel. DO NOT call the number listed on your credit card. Call this number (888) 888-8553 and hit option 1. I have been charged three months before I realized what this was, they refunded 1 month... be sure to ask for at least one months refund when you cancel.

You need to use annualcreditreport.com not freecreditreport.com otherwise this will happen to you. Annualcreditreport.com is the free site that you can order your 3 CRA reports for free (they will ask however if you want to pay for each of your scores though, and you will need to decline).

Default cic credit report

hey everyone, i noticed 39.95 taken from my credit card from the cic credit report and looked into it, i saw all the complaints about it continualy taking the money out every month. i found out that it is a company through Experian. they have offers in the amounts of 12.?? and 14.?? which might be what you got singed up for, i was in the same boat and my bank helped me contace the company where i found out that i had an account. i suggest that you contact experian and either cancel your account or find out your user name and pass word and put your account to use -dan

My checking account was charged $14.95 for a FREE credit report. Wow! Who are you people? The site I downloaded my report from makes no mention of YOU. Stretch the $14.95 as far as you...you won't get any more...I closed my account.

Default CIC Scam

You know, I have been charged twice by this merchant, and I didn't even knew who the hell they were until I actually started a google search. I'm filing a credit card fraud dispute cause I have never ever been to that website and never the less applied for anything... I suggest if you're having the same problem do the same, raise a dispute with your bank and fight this one through cause they'll just keep going at it.

Default Free Credit Reports

Legally, I believe you are entitled to one free credit report within 90 days of every inquiry made by a financing company.

Sadly, I am being scammed on this as well, and with poor scrutiny upon my card/checking account, I just realized I've been losing quite a bit of money to them... If you found out how to stop them at all, please email me @ Army_Garner@yahoo.com.

thanks

Default CIC

I noticed a debit of $14.95 and disputed through my bank. The bank could not get a hold of anyone to dispute. I called and spoke w/ a rep to cancel whatever this account was. He explained it was for a credit report someone ordered monthly. He processed the disconnect but when I asked for a confirmation he said he will email it to me. i advised if I didnt set up this account he dosent have my correct information. Basically told me I was SOL. I finally just put a fraud alert on for this company and the debits have stopped so far. 1 month and counting.....

Default I also got scammed.

Just got my bill and there was the $14.95 charge. Thank you 'Guest' for posting that 888-888-8553 #. It got me right to the correct place to have this scam cancelled. "Free Credit Report.Com" is not free...well it is for 7 days. I guess I did not read the fine print.

Default Dont screw someone if ya dont wanna be screwed back!

They got me too. What a bunch of liars! I hope one of them has the guts to read this. Yeah they overdrew my account and now I have overdraft fees out the ying yang. Well guess what! They lied to me just like they did yall and I am not going to stand for it! I want my money back in my account immediately. They laffed and when I told them to stop any further transactions they never entered to cancel into computer. For some reason I had a strong feeling to call them a second time. SO I did and lo and behold they never canceled it. And I asked for a cancelation confirmation #. Guess what they said they couldnt do it and an email would be sent with my confirmation # on it. HAH! You know they lied to me again! Well guess what... I filed an online complaint with the better business bureau. And I contacted my Attorney general to put a stop to all this. HEY CIC HOW DOES IT FEEL TO BE THE ONE SCREWED NOW? :P 8)

Default CICTripleAdvantage

I visited this site for a free credit report after receiving an e-mail. They did not allow me to review the report after I went on the site. I did not give out any credit card information, nor did I agree to buy anything, yet, 4 days later, I noticed a $14.95 charge on my credit card. I called and they refused to give me my money back. The credit card company says they will credit my account in a few days. I must fill out a form & return in 7-10days.

Default FreeCredit report

I got hit with a $14.95 charge and am calling the company as I write this to have this unauthorized service cancelled. The representative is giving me the same script that everyone here has gotten and they are persistent that's for sure. My advice is to be as persistent as they are in your refusal to continue the membership.
