Default cic

hello; I just got off the phone with them and ,after much hard pressure selling and urging me to keep my subscription,I finally got the rep to give me a confirmation number to prove my cancellation status. I informed him that I have read many reports complaining about this company and I would be directing my crdit crad company to stop any further payments. I also told him that I would be contacting BBB if they did not honor my resquest.we'll see what happens

Stacie,

Please inform us if it ends well. How did you manage it? They are very hard to deal with. Which number did you call? Please share more of your experience.

Default cic credit monitor

I have been scammed by cic . I got my freecredit report at free credit reportcom and canceled there services with in a couple hours my account was charged and i got a nsf charge from of cic .When I called they refused to give me my money back. And now I call and the phone number keeps changing and at the same time its still not clear on how they got my personal information.if you go to their web site you will see dozens of complaints and law suits dated back to 2003. My account manager suggested changing account numbers because they can keep collecting your money by changing the amount.

call the 18002202626 tell them u have been charged and didnt agree. they refunded my 8.95 but refused to refund the 36.00 nsf charge. the same lady refused to let me speak to an their supervisor which proves they dont have one. CHANGE YOUR ACCOUNT NUMBER NOW OR YOU THEYB WILL KEEP COLLECTING FROM YOU.this is what my account manager suggests CIC can keep collect by changing apenny difference or even the Dollar amount .

Default Charged by CIC

I just received my Discover Card statement and there was a $12.95 charge that neither my wife nor I could remember charging. It was to CIC*TRIPLE ADVANTAGE. I went to this website and found your info. I did request a FREE crdit report last month so that is all I can think of. What do we dop now?

I was charged 9.95 for no services rendered. I working with my bank to file charged against this company for unauthorized use of my card #. They indicated that the charge was for a one time deal and now this is the 2nd month to be charged. This is bull crap.

CIC is ConsumerInfo.com. Same thing happened to me. I got my free credit report and they automatically signed me up for their Credit Monitoring for $9.95 a month. I called to cancel and had no problem, but she kept offering stuff to make me stay. Hopefully I wont see any more crap from them.

Contact your bank immediately and see if they can help you get the amount back.

Also ask them not to allow any such debits from them. Have you signed any contract with them in past?
