Default They changed it

They have it in hard to read writing i've noticed since their class action law suit filed a few years back. The writing is there (of course it is hard to read), but it is there. It WASNT before. ALWAYS read the fine print.

Default CIC CREDITREPORT

I current have 3 pending charges for $34.95 each on my credit card. The number they give you is no good. Even the bank is cooperating with them. The bank refuses to do anything about it. This is out right fraud.

I ordered the one time credit report thing.

I cancelled immediately....but that was 9 months ago.

I checked my bank statement to find out that they have been charging me for the last 9 months, even though i had cancelled the same day i signed up.

What a ripoff.

I'm bent!

Default CIC

CIC just took $12.95 out of my checking account and I haven't even heard of them! My husband got a free credit report once and now somehow they got my name and account number. Does anyone know their web address so I can possibly contact them and end this?

Default cic triple advantage thru Experian

This is a credit monitering service that allows you to sign in on their website to keep a check on your credit report. All you have to do to cancel it, is call Experian as it is part of their entity--they will give you a cancel confirmation number also. No more debiting your checking account electronically.

Default CIC Triple Advantage Charges

I too had this problem last year... you need to call the number shown on your credit card (877-481-6825) and unsubscribe your membership. I was told that you can only be refunded one charge, but that I needed to mail a copy of my affected statements to the following address, along with my customer number (given to me by the CIC Triple Advantage representative), and a letter stating that I would like my money refunded.

Here is the address, but I would recommend first calling CIC Triple Advantage:

Consumer Relations
PO Box 19729
Irvine, CA 92623-9729

All of this came about from signing up for a "free" credit report on their website and not removing my "membership" from their database within the 30-day trial period. Therefore, I received a $12 charge every month thereon. I also understand that this company (if that's what you want to call them) is not listed with the Better Business Bureau, but that they have thousands of complaints listed against them, which don't do any good.

Good luck!!! Make sure to tell all your friends & family!

Just wanted to let everyone know that I had the same problem you all are having. I was 'enrolled' without my authorization back in May... thats 6 months of charges --12.95 a month!! Anyway I searched the billing company "CIC Triple Advantage" and came up with this site..so I then called them! 1-877-481-6825. Now these are the most slimy and unhelpful people ever BUT I got a complete refund 77.70 dollars! You just need to be strong with them, not baligerant, but steadfast without taking no for an answer! Ask to speak with the supervisor, repeatedly if necessary, tell them youve filed a report with the Better Business Bureau, that it was an unauthorized transaction AND that youve found THIS SITE and know that more than 1500 reports have been filed against this company!

I had to call 3 times and get the boss out of a "conference" to get refunded but it worked! They'll tell you to mail in a claim to 'Consumerinfo/crg PO 19729, Irvine CA, 92623-23 and to call (949)567-3853 which is simply an answering machine, so DONT DO IT, just stay on the phone and get it done through through the 877 number! So anyway I hope this helps, lets not let this company get away with it! They know what they're doing, they'll just play dumb!
