i never used cingular wireless 2 years before or after the date of 1st delinquency 10/2003.
i never received any delinquency notice from cingular wireless under my address for above described period. i live at my house for 6 years and never moved from 6 years until now. but while i tried to apply to satelite tv,i have found cba(collection bureau of america) report me to credit file. cba ripoff a dishonest, fraudulent and inaccurate credit reporting. if they know my address, why didn't the cingular wireless send me a notice letter to my address and did cba report me a bad credit file under my address?
please help me they do not cheat me.
thank you!

Hi tae

It is necessary for you to contact CBA and get the details of your account. Collection agency hits a credit file only after they have legitimate reasons for it. Either your creditor has hired this agency to collect the debt from you or have sold it to them, they should have done an initial communication with you after hitting your CR. If your account has been sold, your lender won't accept money from you towards this account and you will have to deal with CBA only. Talk to your lender and get the latest standing of this account. It will be much easier to deal with the original creditor and set up a payment plan with them.

Write a letter to CBA asking for debt validation of this account. The actual details of this account will be given to you in the debt validation letter and you can review it. Dispute with the agency if any item is shown incorrectly. The collectors will verify it with your lenders and give you the updated account.

After you have verified legally that the collection agency is not holding your account, you have the rights to file a case against them on charges of fraudulently hitting your credit file. Take the advice of a lawyer who specializes in the lawsuits of FDCPA and FCRA violations.

Well, i work for CBA, and i know for a fact that we arent gitting your credit without good reason. If there is a mistake file a consumer dispute verification. Sometimes, cingular just messes up and doesnt send the info

You are someone hired to troll all the different debt info boards and lie about how you think this company is legit.

this is zombie debt company and a total scam. Do not send them any money or give them any of your personal information, they are not a legitimate debt collector and use loopholes in our laws to literally steal your money.
