what is the sol for wisconsin? can anyone help me-? This creditor appeared in a bankruptcy listing and I have no clue as to what it's for

SOL is WI is 6 years. WI also has a Statute of Repose which extinguishes the debt upon expiration of the SOL.

You say you work for these people like its a thing to be proud of. I also recieved a letter from "your" company and it's completely bogus. If yoiu google "your" company the words, scam, sued, dispute, and crooks come up often.Hey maybe your just one of the good guys and your being used. However fncb is definaly not looking out for the good of its suck,er,customers .

I recently received a collection letter from FNCB for 2 old credit card accts that are probably past the SOL in Nebraska. They were offering me 50% savings on both accts. I called them and set up a payment of $150 on each acct until paid off. The first payment was sent to them on 8/26/09. When talking to Cindy Randall (at fncb) she said as soon as the first payment was received, she would send out a payment coupon for me to use to send with my monthly payments in the future. Nothing came in Sept., and finally on Oct 17,2009 the payment coupon "letter" came. I saw that the original amount of over $4,000 on the letter (and it was not the 50% off they had originally offered me). Bait and switch if you ask me. My question is, now that they have already received a payment from me, what should I do next???

You need to learn to spell to start with! VALIDATION is the correct spelling!! No wonder a collection agency is looking for you.

you need to stay away from the forums if all you are going to do is belittle people.

You ever come to think maybe that this is an attempt or is from an Identity Theft? If you have never lived at an address or even in that state then that's a BIG CLUE that it's an ID Theft case and should be reported as such to your local authorities.

I just received a letter from first national about a dept over 10years old. We live in the state of CA. When i called they answer the phone by the person name and as we were talking she wanted us to make a payment by check over the phone. I did not provide the information. This is a dept that is over the 7year limit and, what shall i do? I'm not even sure if the dept belongs to my husband.

Default Help

just wondering if anyone can help me out. original inquiry was back on 10/21/2009. they are still calling me and sending letters stating I did not keep my promise to pay this debt. I really don't know what to do next. PAULMERGEL - I see you have responded to several other people. Can you give me a little direction as to what to do next. Thank you for your time.

well just the usual.if you gave no promise to pay send them a DV letter.send it certified mail return receipt.ignore all calls,or hang up if they do call.most of all get the letter out asap.this is a bottomfeeder that doesn't play fair.the letter should stop them.
