Internet's first get-out-of-debt community - 128,000 members

Some time back pollyandsay had suggested that we have a form for recording complaints against companies and collectors and I replied soon we will be having that.

The good news is we have it now. The Complain Center is the first step for us to work together and expose the companies and collectors who are victimizing the common man.

From the Complain Center:

1. You can add complaints
2. You can browse through complaints posted by others

JJ and polly, good to see you coming around to check it out.

We are fine tuning the system and soon it should be working great.

We would really like to see a day when the community members and others beyond the community will start using it so that together we can be a powerful force.

Another idea has been brewing in my head lately...let me share that with you. From the complaints we receive some day soon we want to create a list of America's 10 Worst Collection Agencies. The agencies will be ranked on the basis of the number of complaints received against each...it would be something like a "Hall of Shame" Smile

Now we really want more complaints to come through, don't we...?

I think your 10 worst list has much merit.

Maybe you could even tie it to some funny or ridiculus things that Bad Collectors have tried.

At the very least we could do it for our own comic relief.

The only trouble with it is, as of right now it's not being used for that purpose. A poster called "Anonymous" keeps whining up a storm about the collectors harassing her, only his/her complaints are directed at us! The posts belog in "Dealing with collection agencies" not in the Complain Center. Several of us have told this poster that she's not posting in the correct forums and that her frustration is directed at the entirely wrong party! This is kind of ruining what you had in mind here Denny!

LOL...I can't believe I missed "Flyingtails" post before. What's funny is that she is somewhat of a dummy. Obviously she is talking about a collection agency who is calling her...reporting them to the donotcall program is not going to help one bit. LOL....whatever!! Another good laugh for the day.....

I just called the so called origianal Creditor and they have no record of my ss# or name in there records but these asses say i owe them 6019.16 exact and i am pissed who the f * * k are these f** k in g people

Quite strange, if the original creditor is not having any information about you, what are they asking the money for? Hold your grounds strongly! Don't send any money until the debt has been accurately proven by the company.

Denny, I think this new forum with the complaints against different companies is going to be very beneficial for a lot of people. Great idea. And i just love the idea of the "Hall of Shame."
