Congrats Jenny and Heather.... Now, don't be tempted (as I will be) with that 4-figure check... Haha, no way, it's going straight to the creditors..

YAY for all of you! I never dealt with this company, but it is upsetting to know that a company promises to help you and then fails.

Congrats for getting your money back!

And like Hooray said--Don't be tempted.

Woohoooo! Congrats Heather! Man, I have goose bumps just thinking about everything we all went through these past months, and it sounds like it's going to be a happy outcome for everyone (who sent in applications to the Client Security Fund. If you haven't, do it!)!

In a nutshell, if you are new to this forum and you are looking for a way to get your money back from the failed Credit Partnership, I would HIGHLY recommend filing an application to the State Bar (as we did) and opening a case with them, NOW. Once that's done you can apply to the Client Security Fund (through the State Bar) to get a refund (you must have proof of your loss though). It could take several months, as it did in our cases, but it worked! Someone was listening to us and the system worked!

Thanks to all of you again for your support and all of the very helpful information you provided. I could not have done this without you!

Ryno, let us know what your mail looks like this week! We'll be waiting to hear the good news!

I called them today, I'll probably have mine within a month. I forgot that they sent back my application because I didn't fill out a line. So, it's delayed a little. The receptionist did say that they have gotten alot of complaints against CP.

OMG, it felt so good yesterday to go through my stuff and trash all of my CP crap, I am down to just the stuff I sent the State Bar and copies of the Web pages. I wans't sure if I should throw that stuff out yet...I'm afraid I will need if if I throw it out. Not sure why, maybe because I have been safeguarding it for the last 6 months.

Another question, I was wondering what has become of King Benny, he is after all the one that started this post for all of us to find. Just wondering if you got your money back yet. Good luck to all that still are waiting

Hello all, I'm filling out the paperwork for my refund as well, just a question do I put the full amount that credit partnership received or just the amount that was not settled?
