Can someone who has actually received a loan from
this company please let me know. Are they someone
you can trust for a loan? Is this a legite company?
The reason I ask is there is no phone # that you can actually speak to someone.

Whoever came up w/ the saying "if it's too good to be true, ir probably isn't," wasn't lying. I almost coughed up $125 to Personal Credit Services, and would have ended up w/ nothing but a headache. Thank you to all who were willign to share their unfortunate stories to keep others fromt he same scam and devastation. Thank you to the person who started this forum. As a person who is trying to rebuild their credit, not many loan companies want to take me on, and I thought PCS would be a way to get the loan I needed. I'm thankful I did my research before I gave them anything. Thanks to everyone again!! Does anyone know of a legitimate loan company, willing to take on people with not so great credit?

I have tried to get information from these people with regard to their Chamber of Commerce Membership. I get no repsonse.
I have not been able to even talk with anyone and I'm so glad I went with my gut which says if they are taking your money, they should talk with you, or at least respond in a personal manner.
I'm so glad I found this forum. I recently applied, but then had a horrilbe feeling in my stomach. I decided to google them and this is what I came up with. Does anyone know if I'm going to have to worry about them selling my personal information??? I'm worried this might lead to idenity theift....
I was stupid enough to apply with these guys, but I'm lucky cuz I found this site, so no money sent. But my concern is that they might sell or use my personal info. I'm so worried now about idenity theift. Please let me know if there is naything I need to worry about with this company. I couldn't view any of the complaints on the BBB. So I'm hoping that people are just upset with the money aspect and not their personal info being stolden.

First off all I would like to add that PERSONAL CREDIT SERVICES needs to be shut down. They are LIARS, SCAMMERS and anything you can think of in the book. They said if you are denied anything from the lender they would reimburse you. GUESS WHAT they DON'T and second of all it is ILLEGAL to COLLECT ANY MONEY FROM A PERSON TO REFER LENDERS. So there for I DO NOT RECOMMEND!! Check with the BBB first and no the personal credit services is NOT A MEMBER OF THE BBB

I have read and seen to many people who have been scammed from this company. I am pleased to let you all know that I have written a letter to the CNN News and requested that they get word out to other people and not to go through Personal Credit Services. I have even given them a list of bad things about them, right along with the lies they have told people. I faith in god that we all will get our monies back and this company will be shut down so that nobody else gets hurt finacially from these people.

Did you get your loan after that tuesday? If anyone else has delt with Personal Credit Services (NY) and paid the fee...did you get your loan? if so, how long did it take?
Also, the phone numbers given by Roxette are bogus. They are in California and are not connected with PCS (NY) at all.
