Good luck with this! These people handle My Cash Now and Discount Advances. What kind of a reputable company won't even give out their address?

I will be SO GLAD when I get these people paid off, and will NEVER, ever use them again!

Once you paid them off, did CPD leave you alone?
Thank you,

I faxed them a DV letter (twice) to this fax number: 866-645-1662

I addressed the letter to:

William S. Reed
Credit Protection Depot, Inc.
4601 West Sahara Drive, Suite 1
Las Vegas, NV 89102

Hope this helps.

i too have had a run in with this company i am planning to pay off the prinicipal amount and sending a c&d order. ive read several different things about this online and have no written or online agreement with them the whole thing was done over the phone. ive closed my bank account before they could debit it and now they are emailing saying its a serious criminal matter does anyone know if im required to pay more than the principal amount since i have found out they are a fraudulent company and are no longer lisenced in nevada where ive been sending my payments

It isn't a criminal matter it's a civil matter. I do hope you will file complaints with the FTC and your AG.

im in nc from what i have found i dont think they are lisenced in my state. payday lending is illegal in nc i originally had the loan through payday max. they arent driving me crazy yet they have called a few times but i havent been around my phone to talk to them when i tried calling back they are always closed i have recieved the same email saying that its a criminal matter that ive brought on myself but i cant respond to the email. i really cant make any payment right now but i have paid 2 full loans in the past with this company the first one i paid over 500 for a 280 loan and the second i paid with one payment and paid about 650 for a 400 loan. my question is what can these people really do if i refuse to pay more than the original principle? all the lawsuits i have found online referring to this company have had them as the defendant.

They are only getting the principal amount I owe them. And that's it. I, too, have taken out recent loans with MyCashNow and they have been paid back on time. People, DO NOT be intimidated by threats from these low life loan sharks! We all have rights under Federal and State Laws. You can send your questions to your local Attorny General's Office and well as the Consumer Response Center at the Federal Trade Commission, CRC-240, Washington, DC 20580. FYI - I have just sent a certified letter to Professional Debt Management a.k.a. Phoenix Debt Management in Kansas City regarding harassing and threatening phone calls to my place of work (I work at a NYC law firm LOL!). Still trying to figure out, however, who it is they're calling me about. Anyway, good luck to all. And remember, we all have rights under the law!!

The system wont let me login, I want to let you know that I am dealing with both Credit Protection Depot and PDM, and I have filed complaints on them every week. If they even call and hang up I go on line and file a complaint. Right now in MO the Attoreny General's office is filing charges against PDM, so get those complaints in asap in your state and theirs. Last thurs PDM called for the 3rd time after I told them not to call me, and at that point I told them I spoke with a consumers rights attorney and they said I have the right for a debt validation and they better stop calling my work. At that point he said he will get it out to me, havent seen it yet. I am think they may try to send me something stupid to see if I fall for it, but I wont. I will just file a dispute back at them. Both of these PDL's are over paid and I consider them PIF..... I also asked for my refund too..

Good work to you jasgal1! I will definitely get my complaints in! And, yes, I am aware of the Kansas attorney general (Chris Koster) going after PDM.

I had a loan with my cash now. Credit Protection Depot has been debiting my checking account multiple times over the last month. I can't get anyone to speak to me about this or to help me pay it back legitimately without randomly debiting my account. Their computer systems are always down or there is some lame excuse as to why they can't access my account. I'm getting desperate because they are taking all of my money. I hate to have to close my checking account. I just want to pay what I owe. Thanks for any help you can provide.

Credit Protection Depot and MyCashNow are one in the same. You can only stop them one way, and that is to close out your account. These people are nothing more than criminals and will stop at nothing to drain you dry. Please, close your account.

I live in New Jersey and I am aware of the usury law so I want to pay them and get them off my back. But which address is the actual address to send payment? North Brunswick, NJ, Canada? MyCashNow even has an address in Panama? I'm so confused.
the funny thing is i am familiar with NJ as i work with different addresses a lot in my work and the zip code they gave you for North Brunswick is actually the zip code for Chester, NJ (I even double checked with map quest and the post office's page!), they are a good 45 min away from eachother. this may not have anything to do with anything but i happened to notice and that would send a warning signal in my head.
