Cashnet500 uses the following names in their business operations.

Cashnet500
Global Payday
Global Pay Day Loan LLC
Cash Net

You can reach them at the following address:

Global Payday Loans
4001 South 700 East #500
Salt Lake City, UT 84107
Telephone: (800) 654-7444
Fax: (800) 887-9284

This company has an unsatisfactory record with the Business Bureau and majority of the complaints have been left unsolved. Most of them are about payment withdrawals. Incorrect amounts are withdrawn from the checking account of the consumers. This company continues to debit the accounts even after the loan is cleared and withdrawal is done before the payment date.

Large numbers of consumers have complained that they were not informed about the additional charges and fees while the loans were taken.

Having variety of complaints in the name of this company, I will alert you in advance before dealing with them. If recording a phone call is permissible in your state, do it. Ask them to send a statement of your account before you agree to pay on anything.

Use your consumer rights as per the fdcpa law and save yourself from being possibly scammed.

I returned Cashnet's call about the possibilty of garnishing my wages if i do not make payment arrangements. I left a message in Christine's Voicemail that i need the debt verified through a debt verification letter. I have not received a response and it has been 3 days now. Do u think they will try to garnish my wages anyway. I live in texas, and she claimed in our first conversation that i signed an irrevocable consent to garnish wages.

If possibility of wage garnishment is stated in the loan agreement, then they will definitely try to do so. Since you have signed the agreement and given them approval, I will suggest you to talk with them and arrange for a payment plan, if possible.

However, wage garnishments are legal after you have been served a notice in advance and you will have to appear in the court. The judge will review your case before your wages are set to be garnished.

Also, a legal wage garnishment will be kept in the records of your local registrar and also in the latest copy of your credit report. You must check there if you have a valid judgment in your name.

Contacting your creditors will be a preferable step at this point.

I have not been served with any court papers, On another posting, someone stated that the only wage garnishment in Tx is government related(IRS, child support, alimony)

In Texas, wage garnishment is not done in payday loans. But if it is stated in your loan agreement and you have given your consent to do so, Sonic will be trying to garnish it. So, you might consult your attorney also.

Cash net is refusing a debt validation Letter. They claimed they are not governed by the fdcpa. "Tracy" got very rude with me and refused to give me an address. She says "look it up".

Read my post above about CashNet and get the mailing address from there. They have a very unsatisfactory record with the bureaus and have been scamming people largely.

If you see this company doing illegal things in your credit file, you should file your complaints at the FTC, BBB and the state attorney general office against them and request for urgent and immediate actions.

Roxette

This company is based in PA. You can call 1-800-666-8107 and speak with Mark Pascola and he will set your loan up in payments. He froze the balance on mine and also deducted 2 of the return charges.

I think that if they have that many names - any court should say - why? They do because they need them to stay afloat of probably a ton of lawsuits that are thrown at them - I am going to be one of them if I don't get my money back from the credit union!

This compay is the worst to work with, they continued to debit my account after I revoked my permission and now the PA bank commissioner wrote them a letter wanting explanation of this. And, they had the nerve to try to place a collection call at my work after they illegally debited my account twice which my bank took the money back on both occassions. They have recieved my letter weeks ago concerning overpaid interest and they still continued like they never got it. I faxed it again yesterday and haven't heard back yet. If I go to my attorney general with any pdl's it will be this one!

Cashnet is now First National. Same phone 1-800-654-7444. Walk away, while you can. Unethical company. My prayer is that they are brought down and quickly for all they've done to hurt their customers.
