Then when you can't pay your bills and creditors start harassing you and your family, you'll get a taste of the crap everbody on this forum had to deal with.

I found this site while trying to get info regarding this company and reading through the posts I am glad I am not alone in being a relative getting harassed over a debt that is not mine and I have nothing to do with. I have been getting calls and ignored them because I didnt recognize the phone number but the calls were getting out of control so I decided to answer and tell them to stop calling. A gentlman got out right nasty and rude and told me I was a contact for the person in question. I asked the person with the debt and they said no I was not down as a contact so how CFG got my info I would love to know. But this guy I talked too was so ridiculous that when I told them to stop harassing me I have nothing to do with this he turned around and told me to never call the office again. What!?! I said to him I didn't call you, you called me and hung up while he was saying something I don't care to know about. Don't do any business with this company they are completely out of control and I do plan on lodging a complaint even if it goes nowhere. Don't know if it's right but I do have PO Box 440290 Aurora, CO 80044-0290 as an address for them.

Hello I am starting to get calls from cfg i owe bank of america. per the acct rep my balance is $12,864 but they will settle for $6700. sounded good to me. I told him to send me something in writing, problem is they want it all paid in one lump sum. I called the acct rep and advised him that I would like to make payment arrangements. He put me on hold, came back on the line, and said that he will lower my balance even further down to $3200. but still want this in one lump sum. I am awaiting something in writing again with the new settlement offer. Does this sound legit or what, it sounds to good to be true. I have until 10/22/10 to pay this settlement amt. they will then have this debt showing as a positive on my credit report. I just hope this isn't B.S. as I will have to borrower this money from my elderly parents. I don't want this debt to pop up again with another collection agency. By the way my acct rep was very nice and polite.

I received a call from a gentleman from this firm. He would not disclose his name or company. He asked me about my chase account & if I would like to settle? I told him sure for 1K from 10K he laughed at me & said it looks like you do not like to pay any of your bills according to your credit score. He stated that they were going to keep calling me & there was nothing I could do to stop it. I told him that he needed to act accordingly to the fair collections act. He started laughing starting calling me a tough guy & they were going to get there money no matter what. He was very rude & arrogant. I hung the phone up on him he called back asking why I hung up. I then had my recorder & stated I was recording this call, he stated so i'm I. after I told him again he was being recorded he no longer wanted to speak to me & hung the phone up

I would call Bank of america direct & settle with them. I settled with them instead of the agncy. My settlement was pennies on the dollar & they let me make payments @ the branch

This is a site to help people get out of debt, not the company your referring to. If you are receiving mail thats not yours write on the envelope 'return to sender' 'no one at this address'
