Whats the address for Unifund corp in OH on my credit report it says

UNIFUND CORP/OH
11802 CONREY RD
CINCINNATI, OH 45249

but on the internet you find. I think the above one needs a suite number or something.

Greg, if you are sure this is an error in your credit report, dispute with the bureau reporting it. They will check their records and correct the error after verifying with the companies.

i sent a check to unifund at 11802 conrey rd cincinnati ohio 45242 and it was returned as undeliverable this was the address on my credit report

i've sent a payoff check and never heard from them again. i want to pay off my debt but scared that if i let them automatically take from my bank that they eill just still from.

I just found out that I am also known as "Sheri Mazar" and that I have the one and only Unifund Corp seeking my assets. what do I do? My name isn't Sheri Mazar and the debt isn't mine. The address is my ex husband's so that leaves me suspicious of him and his wife...

Re: Julie Mizar's concerns: I too got a letter from Unifund, with a name that was similar to, but not the same as mine. As a former prof. of computer science, I suspect they are doing DB searches using approximate rather than exact matches (ie they had a Mazar, found no match, then began looking at alternative spellings; having found one, they addressed the letter to the original name at the address of the closest match). I have gotten information that Unifund sends out 2000 letters per week from their "legal dept." even though they don't have an in-house legal dept. of lawyers. If you respond in writing within the legally required window of 30 days and dispute the validity of the debt, they apparently can't go after you without providing verification, nor can they apparently give negative information to a credit reporting agency without noting that you dispute it. If you don't respond, they can -- and frequently do -- proceed with a suit to get judgment, then use the judgment as further evidence against any mitigating claims. I have just written Unifund a letter saying that I disputed the claim of debt and asked for evidence that the debt was against my legal name, evidence that they owned the debt, verification of the debt with information about the the original creditor and statement of charges. *I am not a lawyer,* but if they have been fishing or trying to collect money you are not legally required to pay, they should leave you alone if you have written to dispute the validity of the debt.
