I am very intrigued with the idea of "blogging". I enjoy writing and I guess I am in need of some self-confidence that I could do it. I do have a question--how long do you have the blog for? and if it is so easy to do why don't more people do it. Also, does somebody have to review it and decide if they want you to be a blogger and pay you for it?

Lori, you can start with the one. See any of the community member's blogs here

http://www.yesdebtfree.org/blogs.html

Blogs are your personal space and you can write anything that happens to be informative to others. The main intention should be to have more visitors in your blogs. When you have a busy traffic in your blog and with the help of the adsense by google, you will be paid

See the left panel of this window where you are asked to create a blog. Follow the instructions and your blog will be created.

I went and registered for the blog, but was not given the publisher ID number that was needed to post on my account page. Could someone help me?

The message from google/adsense said that they would check out my site and if it was appropriate they would approve. How can they check out something I don't have?

Hi Lorri

When you register in the google adsense, they will reply back with a verification notice within a couple of days. You need to fill that info. You will get a confirmation mail that you have been registered for the adsense. Go to your accounts tab and get the Publisher ID placed at the bottom of the page. Once you copy and paste it in your forum profile, google adsense will be activated in your personal blog.

Thanks John---that makes a little more sense. Could you mind explain in simple terms how you make money through blogging this way? I tried reading the instructions and couldn't quite get it.

Hey Lorri,

Have a look at the couple of posts put in this link. You will get some idea regarding earning through blogs. Once the google adsense is active in your blog, you make money each time when someone clicks on that adsense. The payment will be sent by google through check at your mailing address. Do not click on your adsense by yourself. If you do so, google will catch the IP and might ban your adsense.

So if no one ever clicks on it you don't make money?

On Optimistic thoughts, everyone earns if we are talking about google. You might have seen google ads everywhere in the internet. There are billions and billions of online internet users. This website already has a good show online. I am sure; your blog will catch a major fraction of visitors, provided your blog has something catchy for the readers. You need to write on something that will catch the interest of the readers in your blog. Give a try, bloggers world is becoming huge each day.

More traffic, more clicks and more money. Start posting and our community will help you earn more with Ads . We have some adsense experts like Blog-Tintin.

Do let me know if some help is required.

Thanks,
Vikas

Default a question about the adsense ID

on my adsense (have had it for a while on a rogue website of mine that i never update),
i have 3 different Adsense IDs. (no im not cheating the system)

Anyways in my Adsense, under "Property info:"
i have the following
AdSense for Content: ca-pub-9xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
AdSense for Search: partner-pub-9xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Referrals: ca-ref-pub-9xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

In my profile here ar DebtCC, it asks for "Adsense ID" and "Adsense Channel ID".

Which one of my above adsense IDs goes where on the DebtCC page?

Zek

Pick up the AdSense for Content: ca-pub-9xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

and paste it at "Adsense ID" in the debtCC page.

Visit your blog and the adsense will be live.

I haven't written again because I feel like a big dummy with this blog thing. Here is my question---I did the adsense thing and it says to post it in your blog---where the heck is your blog? How do you make it? Do you design it somewhere else or what? I am really puzzled and I can't be the only one that doesn't get this (or am I).

Lorri, there is nothing to get puzzled, we all are here to help you dear, (ha ha that makes a rhyme )

Anyway, have you visited DebtCC blogs? Community members can have blogs with this site for their own use. Maintaining a blog is as easy as ABC. PM Vikas that you want a blog, he will arrange it for you. I have requested too and waiting for his reply.

Once you have your own blog, placing Adsense on it won't be a big deal. I will guide you, PM me if you have any more questions. All the best
