Hello, for some reason I was thinking about the status of Ellis Crosby and called their toll-free number 800-491-8615....it now rings to "United Carrier Networks, Buyers United," which with a quick internet search seems to have something to do with utilities, nothing at all with Ellis Crosby. Also tried their regular number and it was disconnected. Have they finally gone out of business?? Does anyone know the status??? Have they contacted anyone recently?? Blessings, Melissa

I saw a posting that said Ellis Crosby had filed bankruptcy. Can they still be trying to collect as GTO?

Can you file bankruptcy if you are being sued, and claim you have no money?

I have a strong feeling that they'll be back as GTO after the law suit is over though.

Mike

Filing for bankruptcy can be done by anyone but the real thing is to qualify for it. The court will be investigating the charges put on Ellis Crosby and then penalize them. If necessary, they will also keep a future check on all their business activities.

Ellis Crosby has to present everything transparently while undergoing legal actions. I am having this feeling that their numbers of harassment calls have largely reduced these days and might be busy preparing themselves to appear in the court. ha..ha..
