Well duh, I was a collector for dell. I really dont like it when I come here to help and I get yelled at for wanting to help. My employment sucks there thats why I dont plan on returning. And please point out to me where I was bloating about how great my employment was there? Saying I made okay money is not bloating. I dreded going there. And No I will not watch what I say because I am just like everyone else and I do have the right to say whatever I please. He might be a great person, but I just dislike the way I came out of my shell to help and tell my 'story' i guess you would call it, can I was slammed at. It was not right. I guess With the all the Anger about Encore though, I had It coming. But Im gone from there. This website made me realize that i didnt wanna be there. I'd rather 'Deliver Pizza's' like he said.

So, This was my approch when I worked at Encore. 1. Instead of introducting myself as a collector I introduced myself as a account manager because, I felt that it sounded more professional and the people I called was less angered by my call. Because alot of ppl were mean there and rude and I would rather take the more professional and polite approch. 2. I gave options lots and lots of options. Let me also say A secret of collections. Has someone ever gotton angry and you because instead of paying by a check by phone you wanted to mail it in??? Reply to this and found out the reason why,

oh sure, the people you called were mean and rude.PUH-LEASE,you keep thinking that.also it's the consumers right with all the identity theft and scams to send payment to a physical address.bottom line you worked for a bottomfeeder deluxe, and nothing you say will dispell that.

ook, whitney, i'll bite....please tell us why they get all mad. my best guess is this--money in hand right now is the only thing a collector wants, because promises are made and broken all the time. anyone can say "I'll send you a check tomorrow", but few people would actually do it. so, my guess is that a collector will lie and claim that "you can only pay with check by phone right now" to avoid getting a broken promise, and to get money in hand right now.

Of course, no intelligent person should ever give out their banking info over the phone to a company like Encore, they are a bunch of crooks. And in the past, they have cleaned out more money than they claimed was owed from people's bank accounts. So, if you ever intend to continue collecting, remember this--if you push that "you can only pay with check over the phone today, or we're suing" garbage, keep in mind that you could very well be responsible for someone being defrauded out of money that your collection company has no right to take.

Exactly when you do a check by phone its not bad but your boosting that collectors ego and Bonus.... Example: If I was to collect well.,... I get 3 grand on a 2 week check. Maybe that money that they are awarding collectors should be used to help people get out of debt. But I would Advise to always do I check my main (Mail). Unless Your about to charge off and want to save your credit or a settlement offer has been offered to you. IM really happy that Im here to help. BTW Paul I am now a Manager at my other job. Taco Bell, It is so much better there. Im happy I made the switch.
