Well I signed up for one of the topics, but don't know how to get it so its in the FAQ instead of looking for a maintainer (which it has) ... Am I dense or just don't get it?

It's very easy Clay. All I did was first copied the text "Commonly used abbreviations in the forum" and pasted it in the "List of FAQs" section. The link will automatically appear after you save the page. Then I removed the text from "Current list of FAQs looking for maintainer".

I've done it with your thread. Please check it

All you need to learn some basic wiki syntaxes to play with the wiki. You can get help from here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Tutorial

Let me know if you have any doubts.

Thanks
Mike

Well, it has been several months, and we have many wonderful and insightful new members of the community so maybe its time to get this post back on the front page, or maybe even make it a sticky.

Are there any topics members out there would be interested in adopting? Or is there information you feel should be added to a topic being maintained by another?

Hey Vikas, I still think you should put a link to this white board in the "our Services" area. Any one looking for this information has to know these white boards exist and then find this thread in order to get to this information. A lot of the information on these white board could be very useful to new members of the community.

Hi Clay,

Your suggestion is highly appreciated as we do the long term planning. We will properly organize the whiteboards under the FAQ so that these pages come into focus under "Our Services".

I also take this opportunity inviting our members and maintain the FAQ whiteboard section. The guidelines on how to get started are explained here Please post those who are interested or you can send me a PM.

Regards
Vikas
