I'm proceeding with action against quikpayday

I have tried and tried to get some sort of response from quikpayday after sending the letter about 15 times. Last Friday I got a reply saying that my request has been sent to upper management. Since then I have not heard anything. I've decided to go ahead with filing complaints and a lawsuit. I have talked to the Attorney General's Office and I will be calling back to file a complaint with them, who else can I complain to? Also I would like to file the law suit on my own to save on attorney's fees. I doubt they will show up any way. Does anybody have any tips?

I don't have any tips but I just sent my first letter to them. Please let me know how this goes for you. You are right, nobody will show if you proceed with this. But then, the court awards you so much money, what will it take then to collect it?

You could prob. file a small claims suit..Usually costs about $35.00. Chances are they won't show up and you'll win automatically..

Quickpayday takes a lot of time to respond. Go ahead if you are willing to fight a case on your own. Your actions will be appreciated in the court because you are showing your responsibility of paying the account. You will definitely see results because of the proof about their ignorance.

You can also report the unfair actions of Quickpayday at the BBB and the FTC complaint form. This will be helpful for others dealing with them.

Please tell me what is the point in a law suit? What is it you are going to sue for?

Art,

You seem to have filed the proper complaints. As stated above Quik Payday does take time to respond to e-mails or complaints. You may want to give it some more time before filing a lawsuit. If it was just last Friday, I would give them a few more days to respond to the e-mail.

When I sent my letter to Quick Payday and I didn't send it certified or return receipt either because I couldn't afford it just sent it regular mail. It took about a week before I received their letter saying my account was paid in full.

It took sometime to get a response from them but not that long. I never sent a physical letter, I emails and faxed. It happen pretty quickly after the first response, but I was not asking for a refund just to have the acct. marked paid in full. I must say, out of all of mine, they were pretty easy.

They seem to be getting better about replying to people. If you have a specific person you email you're better off than just sending it to a general mailbox at quikpayday. Wait a few more days Art and see if they respond. Patience is a virtue (that I don't have most of the time Wink )

I faxed them my letter on 6/2 and sent it again certified just yesterday. Hopefully I will not have to wait long.
