Hello everyone,
I have had the worst 5 months for id theft. One of the solutions to correct this problem is located right on the Equifax.com web site. It is the 3 in 1 monitoring of your credit report. What they do is offer you monitoring of all three credit reports and send you emails when there has been a change. This also includes removals, status updates and new creditors reporting to the bureau. They also have an investigation team that will investigate disputes on your credit. You can dispute on line. I found this extremely helpful as I have been updated almost daily since my disputes.

I subscribed to their "Gold" monitoring service last year..I believe it costs around $100.00..It has daily updates on changes on your credit report..
Kinda pricey, but it's been nice to have.
I think they have silver level for around $60 which is weekly updates.

Hi Jessi,
You can also get this service for free if you received a letter from a company stating that their server was hacked into and your personal information may have been violated. The of course have to offer it to you through the mail and give you a code to enter when applying for the service. IE: payday ok sent a letter that indicated my info may have been stolen. I put the code into the payment option and received the monitoring for one year free.
Yes it is pricey but I believe not as bad as it could be if you have your identity stolen.
Good advice on the silver level. It also does the job.

Yes it does. That's prob. what I'm going to go with this year, since I'm a little "broker" than I was last year.
I like it, because when there is a change, it will let me know, and then I write the change on my printed copy of my credit report.
