Read the other posters who have posted their experiences about Imagine MasterCard. It sounds a big scam to me. I will suggest you to stay away from it.

I finally got through to someone on the 1-800 number that was previously posted and they told me my account is still in processing. Last time I called, I was told I would receive my card in 7-10 days. For those of you who received your card, how long did it take to be processed and your card to arrive?

Well I just finally got my card in the mail today, I applied like 1-2 weeks ago. However I did recieve the card, it says it won't be fully activated/be able to use the card until the 27th (3 days from now), when I assume i'll also recieve my pin numnber in the mail. By the way my checking account is overdrawn like 30 bux, and yet they say that they recieved their 9.95 activation fee LOL. (who knows maybe Bank Of America authorized it anyways)!

It dosen't seem like a scam, it is a real USA bank (first bank of delaware) but they probably are making a few screwups. So you take the chance when you apply for the card, but if you recieve your card and just make your payments as due (personally i'm going to make my payments via overnight money orders so theirs no confusion/messups with my already overdrawn checking account! Plus with the money order you can copy it and have proof of payment, vs them debting from your account). From what I seen people with the cards are happy with them, just make sure you get the payments in prefferably money order a few days ahead of payment! I just turned 18 hopefully this will start building my credit, and whoever got the increase how long did it take?

Thanks, Cheers!

Oh yeah those who want to apply for the card, you need a valid checking account with at least 10.00 in it for the processing fee.

Read the posts above and you will feel safe closing the account. Remember to get the cancellation statement in writing from the company. Otherwise, the account will add with some hidden charges and you won't be aware about it. After some years, you will be in a fix when a statement of this account will be sent to your mailing address with invalid charges.

Try these numbers - 1-888-408-6572 or 678-259-8002. Put your cancellation request in writing and send it through certified mail with return receipt requested. Request them to send their acknowledgement after the account is cancelled. You need to have the proof in writing so that any hidden charges don't add up in the future.
