I applied for this card, it states that as long as you have a checking account your automatically approved, but when I applied they said I was declined, they state they don't don't check credit, but I looked at my credit report and they did. Anyone know anything about this and have contact number for them.

You can visit www.bbb.org and do a search for them. You will get some valid information over there. Also if a would-be creditor runs credit check without your permission, you can ask them to remove this.

I would dispute that inquiry as a non-permissable pull. If it was reported to Equifax or Transunion, you can get it removed relatively easy by calling or sending a letter. Good luck if they pulled from Experian. They never remove any inquiries and are, in my opinion, the most difficult of the three to work with.

You should file complaint against them. This is not a good business habit. However, was the problem solved later?

I got a payday loan from Cash Today Payment out of India. It had a survey attached. I got the loan and $1000.00 worth of additional charges for two credit shopping cards, grant info, internet services, and whole lot of paper work and a new account. I filed fraud charges and got back most of my money. What a headache that was. Beware of India or anyone who calls you and asks if you want something, if they have your account information you can say no till your blue-in-the-face, and they will still charge your account.

Donna, Cash Today is a UK based company I think. Members of this forum have posted comments on how to deal with Cash Today. Hope it will help you.

Bizzy, why did they debit your checking account, is there any outstanding balance? Is it with collection agency?

I applied online and received an approval right away. Been a cardholder since January. Love this card. Have had no problems with them. Just received a credit limit increase.

They are not on my credit report as an inquiry or as if I have an account with them. They never debited my account in the three months that I've had the card and unfortunately, when they finally did, I didn't have enough money in my account. They closed my account out.

The website that they have is only for those that already have a card. It doesn't give you the option to apply with them. I applied with them through visiting a payday loans website. Imagine that!
