They called and spoke with my husband yesterday, he was not rude and told them he would have to look into the debt they claim. Now today they have called 4 times in 10 minutes. The lady was very rude, she started screaming over me while I was telling her they just spoke with my husband yesterday. I got mad and said f*#&k you nad hung up. I then called the ftc and found that they are breaking the law first by not making contact in writing explaning the debt, and 2nd by repeatdly calling and harrissing after they were asked not to call until sending us explantion of debt. We ALL need to file complaint with the attorney general office to stop them. I have had to do the same for other debt collectors and after contacting the attorney general the calls stop.

These people have been told twice that the person they are calling for has not lived here in over a year, yet they keep calling. Is this legal? At this point,I'm going to try to block their phone number.

I got a call from these people the other day. It is a collection agency but the person they were looking for doesn't live here and hasn't lived here for at least 7 years. I told the lady on the phone that nobody by that name lived here and she got really rude with me. Kept asking if I knew the person, if they work and if I had a work number or cell phone number that I could reach them at. I of course don't know any of this information and I asked her not to call here again and she very rudely said "well you don't want to give me any information as how I can contact this person so we'll keep calling this number" and she hung up on me! I have noticed that they've called 2 more times while I was not at home but if they call me again and I'm here to answer I will be telling them that I am going to contact the police for harrasment if the calls don't stop.

I have been getting the same calls. Except I tracted them down to a company in New Mexico. I't is called Focus Recievable Management LLC. They have a message to call someone. Today they called and asked for my husband and I could hardly get his name from him. He did say company name or anything. I had to call back to find out the company.

I have the same problem. I have an account with them and paid $500 in Jan. and I have apid $300 in the last three months I have two kids so its hard to always pay them money. They get very rude with me and tell me that I am refusing to pay. Where do they get off saying that I dont want to pay when I have paid them what I can and when I can? Now it got to the point that they wanted to take a payment to pay off the balance and I told them no and they were still going to try to take it out of my bank account. I had to go and close out account immediately so they could take my money. I mean I understand that is theie job and they are trying to get their money, but they do not have to be so rude and mean. Maybe if they took a different approach they would get their money faster? Also I am tired of them calling my work, and calling my mother in law accusing her that its me, what is that about. They have no right to call my family when it is my debt. They make me so mad.

Can't anyone do anything....obviously there are hundreds of us who have gotten these calls and dealt with the verbal abuse...as if we don't already feel bad enough the way it is about being in debt and they go and say inappropriate and demeaning things that are hurtful. I would think someone would be able to take action....maybe it will take a Class Action against them...I don't know...but I think they are rude and unaccomodating especially when they don't even tell you up front who they are or why they are calling...I have had this problem with other collection agencies as well...it's just frustrating...

I got two of these calls, the message was half cut off each time. I called the 866 # left in my voicemail and was connected to a nice lady who took my number off their list. They were looking for someone who probably used to have my phone number but I don't know who it is.

My 13-year-old daughter gets these calls during school. These are very annoying. I got to here her VM, the person that called was "Patrica Greene" and she was calling for "Brenda Vance". They didn't say why they called. The number was 800-628-2305, extention 3401, but the call was from 678-288-3415. We are not in debt at all either, but they keep calling.

Let me start by saying mason James is about a xxxxxx xxxxxxx xxxxx xx xxxx! I guess without a high school education you get stuck in collections! Not all debt you are attempting to collect is legit! I am being harassed for a service I had that was cancelled after my contract was up then re-activated by the service provider without my knowledge or consent. So just because you can only make money by being a jackass doesn't mean that it is the fault of the person you are harassing!!!

Send them a demand for validation, immediately. A cease-and-desist clause in the letter will stop the calls, too.
