My question is I'm looking for the best way to find all of my debt. I recently came into some money and would like to be debt free but i don't know who all i owe money to. Where can i go to find out?

A good place to start would be your credit report. Check your credit report from all three bureaus (Equifax, Transunion, and Experian). This will give you a good idea of what has turned into collection accounts and what other installment accounts and such you have.

I agree with Mary. Credit report is the best place to start because most of the creditors and collection agencies report your accounts to credit bureaus. You have to check all the three reports as few creditors are there who do not report to all the three credit bureaus.

Yes, I just pulled up all three on mine and, frightening as it is, at least I know now. Truthfully, some things are not as bad as I thought and I can dispute several....I am glad that I did it. Good Luck!
