These fools called my elderly parents after pulling my credit report from the internet and had all the info from the credit bureau then demanded 10k more than my balance on my CC! Called my credit card company and they told me that my last payment was received 9 days ago and my account was current. They had never heard of LERS even after doing a google search.
These people are crooks that need to be stopped.

We setup a payment plan that will end in Feb. of 2010. They send out a letter each month letting me know that my account will be debited before the due date as they are required to. I have had no further issues with them and when I call and ask for my rep, she is very accommodating. And no, I don't work for them, just with them to pay off this debt.
I paid my last payment to them in February and they had been taking out 450.00 a month for 5 months as our agreeement and the last payment was to be for 225.80 which is exactly what they debited. I called them before the last payment was to be withdrawn to ensure that they took out the correct amount and the nice lady I had been dealing with looked though the notes and verified the amount. She stated that the account would be updated to show paid in full settled and I would received a notice from them and Capital One stating such. Waiting to receive the notice but glad to have this account taken care of. I will update everyone on the status once I receive my notice and check my credit report after 45 days.
So far no complaints other than the constant phone calls until I contacted them and setup the payment arrangements.

I received 5 automated calls from 888-306-0514 within 2 weeks and when I called them back, they said that they were Leading Edge Recovery Solutions. I asked to speak to a supervisor and the rep asked me to identify all phone numbers they may have on record for me. They didn't have a record of me and then had the GALL to ask me for my social security number. My response was 'ARE YOU INSANE?' When the supervisor got on the line, I asked her for her Soc Security number and she wanted to know why. MY response was 'that is EXACTLY what I thought when your rep asked me that question. They didn't have any record of my number and said they'd take me out of their system (how could they do that if they had no record of me?). I am going to report them to the BBB for harrassment. I have started a log with the times they called and will call them back each time to speak to a supervisor. I am also tracking the names of all employees I speak to. Will ask to go several levels higher next time.

I just wanted to know if this company was on the up and up because there is a guy from the company that keeps calling me on my job. I really don't want to deal with them becaue the name itself sounds kind of shakey.

So I have been getting a lot of calls from them. I do actualy have a debt and for a couple months I was not able to pay anything. So today when they called I was going to set up payments and right as i was doing it a lady put her boss on the phone, Mr. Lewis. He was so rude to me and would not even let me get a whole sentence out. He just kept going on and on about how I should have been making payments already. I asked to please speak to someone else cause I didnt think I needed to be spoken to like that and HE HUNG UP ON ME. So a few minutes later he called my work... which I have asked them numerous times to not do. Finaly I said I would make a payment next month (which is in one week) and he said NO we will not work with you. You have to make a payment right now. I told him I cant do that and he said "well best of luck" and hung up. I dont know what to do? Now they wont let me pay anything on the debt.

I just had them call me - They are extremely rude and refuse to discuss they just want to tell you what you need to do. I terminated tehe call because I don't need to be talked to that way. I immediatley recieved a call back - which is clear violation to the FDCPA and I told him I wanted a supervisor. He refused at first but he kept yelling that i need to listen to him. He finally got a supervisor and they supervisor was just as unprofessional. My cease and desist letter was faxed to them shortly after.

What credit agency do you work for? "L7", grow up. You call people "Losers" and I guess that makes you fell good about yourself? Guess what, this is not a perfect world and people do have financial problems. Especially when you have low-life thieves running Wall Street, banks, mortgage companies, Washington, DC...the list goes on. So, why dont you pull your prissy head out of your ass and wake up to reality. Oh yeah, have you moved out of your parents house yet and do they still support you?

This company has also been calling me multiple times a day, harassing me with threats. They have refused to provide me with a paper copy of my alleged debt, which originated from a closed bank account and a stolen bank card. I have every intention of paying this debt if it's REAL, but am insisting on a paper copy of this bill. I feel like I'm running from the law, when in fact, it seems hard to believe that their tactics are legal!

I received a call from them at work today. They hung up on me when I refused to validate info they were pushing for. Advised her (Patrice Williams) to stop calling my work. Still using their number of 888-306-0514 to cold call "debtors". Cease and Desist letter mailed today with copies to my States Attorney General and Ill Attorney General. Only way to stop these dredges is thru legal action against them for a change. Would RICO laws apply? A class action suit might also knock a hole in their wallets... Any suggestions on how to initiate one???

These people left a message today looking for my ex-husband and his current wife. We've been divorced 17 years. Interesting how they can track I'm the person who was married to him that long ago and that I might even know where he is??
