Andre- this website is for people to ask questions and share experiences related to debt and collection agencies. It is not the website for LVNV.

Hopefully a mod will delete your account number and personal info.

I noticed on my credit report as well that LVNV Funding LLX was on there in the amount of $278. I know that I signed up for a credit card by Old Navy in March of 2007, but I don't remember anything about LVNV Funding. My spending limit on the Old Navy card was $300, but I never swiped the card or let anyone else use the card because I really didn't and still don't shop at Old Navy that much. I got the card to get 10% off on my purchases.

Even though the account for $300 is closed, do I still have to pay it off? Or do I owe LVNV Funding $278?

My dad keeps getting letter and phone calls from LVNV for a credit card that was charged off (Capital One). The letter states they "Acquired from Capital One, advised the balance owing was $6,745.26. LVNV is currently charging interest and other fees for a current balance of $8097.01

My dad has sent them a letter along with a copy of his Drivers License and SS#. He is disputing the Capital One card as he is not the person who applied for and used the card. Can LVNV force my dad to pay for this even though he isn't the one who got the card?

Thank you.

I am Mercedes cousin and am trying to find out who might have her account now. I called lst Source yesterday and they told me that her account was recalled on Mar 26. On 20 Feb 09 I send a letter to 1st Source asking for a receipt of 08's payments to include Jan 09 for tax purposes. 1st Source said that they do not send any correspondence, just the file. I have general power of attorney over her and am her payee representative. I was the one that payed $10 a month (all she could afford at the time) since 11/15/06 or before.

Hello,
Your company LVNV Funding, LLC is currently a creditor on a credit card bill from my mother Loretta Allison, I only have the last 4 numbers of her credit card 1250. My mother passed away October 5,2008, She had no Estate no will and no money. You had been sending a bill to my Mom's address. Our family never knew she had a credit card, and we never found one, after we went through all of her belongings. Her name apparently was the only name on it. I just wanted you to know that she died.

If the credit card that is past due is past 6-7 yrs it was written off by lets say sears then it was sold to LVNV whatever you do DONT make any payments to these crooks once you do it becomes active again and now you will owe these crooks
if they send a letter stating they are sueing you get your papers together and show to court , most of the time they will not show themselves and it will be thrown out and you win AGAIN do not pay these crooks they are blood suckers

Is it legal for LVNV and the original creditor to show the same previously disputed info 3 times on each of the credit reports. (After disputing with the original creditor several years ago, they changed the account number of the account that had fraudulent activity, and now the 1 account is showing several times) What, if any, recourse do I have? any help is appreciated.
