VISDSNB???????
I guess ...if we have memberships with EQUIFAX, EXPERIANS,COMSUMERINFO, ETC....they should have a certain way to protect us from CREDIT FRAUD like VISDNB... I am currently in trouble with VISDSNB now. last night they send a negative report ( late payment)to CREDIT BEAUREAU- EXPERIAN against me.......It is so painful...

Credit Report
I just copied my credit report and also have VISDSNB on it with the same address as Macy's but I have a phone number 800-267-8472. I have not tried it yet so don't know if it is a good number but will do soon. Hope it helps

I agree that it is just another account (not necessarily a card, but an account linked with big department stores. I found it on my credit report and noticed it was opened the exact same day as my Bloomingdales card.
The balance for my VISDSNB is $0 at the moment so I will probably not worry about it unless/until that changes or I decide to cancel my Bloomingdales card. |

Call them. They should be able to close just the Visa, leaving the Macy's open.

MCYDSNB
I also found MCYDSNB as open on my credit report although I never signed up for such card. After finding this site and reading the above entries - I wonder if my OLD Meier & Frank store card triggered it. Meier & Frank was purchased by the Federated Stores sometime before Macy's stepped in.
I guess, Macy's has extended the credit that I really do not want! I will cancel and dispute it. |
